This is the best practice in town. I was on the waiting list and finally got in. Several friends referred me to Gulfshore who have been patients for years. You will not be disappointed.

Dr. Hochman is a condescending and extremely arrogant doctor. As a concierge he never reviewed my file prior to entering the exam room. At each appointment he read it to me then pulled up websites to prove his statements. I wasted $6,000 for a year of his speeches about medicine, all the while exhibiting a complete lack of interest in my health. As a rheumatologist, he never manipulated any of my joints. He writes scripts for hundreds of steroids to take on your own. Stay away from him!

Very dismissive and speaks to patients like they're idiots. Autoimmune disorders are complicated he is hesitant to order the right test, or any test if you're concerned. He tries to talk you out of being tested for things because he doesn't think it's likely you have whatever it is you suspect. Work with people, hear them out and put symptomatic clues together.
