I have been very diligently followed by Dr. Isselbacher for 25 years and know him to be both an excellent and skilled cardiologist as well as a sensitive, caring medical professional. The experienced cardiac team, led by Dr. Isselbacher, is second to none at Mass General. I cannot give a more sincere recommendation.

Dr. Isselbacher is one of the best! We did our research and everyone kept telling us to see him. He is not only incredibly knowledgeable, he also took the time to explain my husband's condition to us in a way we could understand and even drew pictures. He spent the time with us and answered all of our questions. We were very nervous when we found out that my husband had a thoracic aortic aneurysm and he really worked with us to come up with a solid plan.

This doctor should have a total record of five stars from all. He is competent and thorough. He does his "homework." His advice is good and well thought out. Underlining it all is a sense of humor with compassion and understanding for his patients.
