Dr. Lebby is a good surgeon and his PA staff are excellent and knowledgeable. However, here is a warning to help you avoid the nightmare I am going through with my knee replacement. Dr. Lebby never tells you there are two types of knees during surgery, a cemented one and a non-cemented one. He does not give you a choice and decides on his own. He put in a non-cemented knee, which MOST orthopedic surgeons do not use. The recovery time is extremely painful and horrendous. The PA told me at my first postop visit that because I had a non-cemented knee my recovery would suck! It’s like living in a nightmare every day. Rehab PT facility in Bath, PA were incompetent and put a 30 pound weight on my leg and damaged all the muscles and tendons in the leg. Lost the ability to walk and had to start rehab from the beginning after weeks of rest. Five months out no quality of life. Dr. Lebby could care less. He said I might get better in 18 months! Get a cemented knee and NEVER go to LVHN Bath PT.

No care for his patients other than surgical $
He performed a knee replacement on me in Dec. and cared nothing about my care after surgery. He was discouraging as I battled back my strength post-op. It was amazing how negative and disinterested he was. Most of the knowledge needed to improve was from internet sites of other physicians.

Never x-rayed my knee when I was in pain. Just gave me shots. Did not do a knee replacement that was badly needed. No bedside manor.

I had a total knee replacement and within 5 months was back playing tennis again on a weekly basis. I now playing competitive USTA tennis with little or no pain. While it is not the easiest operation to endure, with faithful therapy and exercises routines, it is possible to get back to a full exercise lifestyle.

I had a full knee replacement done by Dr. Lebby and so pleased with the results! He came highly recommended to me by a friend as I was to to the area and so glad I did. From his knowledge to his professional bedside manor... you will not find a finer choice in PA. Fair warning though the word is out on his reputation.... call early for an appointment! Dr Lebby replaced my right hip back in June. It was a miraculous surgery. I had basically no pain compared to my pre op pain. I had the normal surgery discomfort. Dr Lebby is an amazing surgeon! I would recommend Dr Lebby in a heartbeat. He is professional with a bit of humor and a lot of compassion!

Just had my right knee replaced by Dr. Lebby and staff. Could not have asked for a better doctor and group of people to take care of me. My wife and I attended the joint replacement class before the surgery which was very helpful. We were treated with the utmost kindness before, during and after the surgery. Before we left the surgical center, they made sure we knew everything we needed for a successful recovery.

Dr Lenny took ZERO time to get to know me or the history of my knee problems. He literally introduced himself pulled up my X-ray and told me you need a total knee replacement. I’m 48 and SUPER active. Then when I asked what were my other options he explained them like it was a bother. Horrible horrible experience. Shame on you Dr. Lebby for not taking more than 6 minutes on a new patient. Disappointed is an understatement.

Think again before you go here. I went for a 2nd opinion before I had my hip replaced by this doctor. I was told My hip was no good I needed this done....2nd opioion it is not my hip there is nothing wrong with my hip it is all my back....this doctor was going to do a unnecessary hip replacement on me. So glad I went for a 2nd opioion

Dr. Lebby is the BEST!! I had a total knee replacement 5 weeks ago and I'm doing fantastic. My incision looks beautiful, and I have no pain! I really take PT seriously, starting from the day of surgery. I'm 48years old and suffered for 2 years. Now I think why did I make myself suffer for so long. Being pain free and getting my life back is all because of Dr. Lebby. He's extremely kind, caring & professional. And so is his staff. So if you're reading this, go now and see Dr. Lebby.

I had knee replaced about a year ago by Dr. Lebby. I questioned why it felt so loose from the start and was told it was normal. After severe swelling and pain, tests for blood clots, continued sloppiness in the knee and being unable to strengthen my knee Dr. Lebby refuses to admit there is a problem with the surgery. I had a second surgeon look at the knee and was told it was made too loose and will never be right without another surgery to fix the problem. The real problem is being lied to.
