Dr. Eric Lonseth, MD

First of all, I have had to wait up to 2 hours to see the provider. Wait times is entirely too long. Even with telemedicine, my phone battery was getting low waiting on the provider. Dr. Lonseth pays too much attention to typing in his laptop instead of really listening to the patient. He does not show any compassion or empathy. He does not show interest in setting up a plan that takes into account the goal of living life for his patients and the activities they do on a daily basis. The office pushes procedures even when they have not given any relief in the past.

I was a patient of Longseth Pain Center until 1/20/23. I had an appointment for a tele-health call to fill prescriptions. The last telehealth call had an associate of Longseth confer with me. She accused me of lying about dates of scripts to be filled and not taking my meds as perscribed. She also did not fill migraine script. When I asked her for a small increase for 1 of my scripts her statement was "they will not do that." Who is they? She did not speak or ask the OWNER of the clinic for increase. This happened 12/22/22. The arrogance of Dr. Longseths'associates knows no bounds. She got my re-fill date incorrect and accused me of not taking my meds as perscribed because of incorrect date. On 1/20 as we had a heated discussion. Another associate whose name, he said, is "Montry" not only threatened to not fill scripts but also released me from a clinic that is not his. The black female associate that accused me of lying her excuse: "we all make including you." Typical deflection.

I’ve been seeing Dr. Lonseth for nearly 2 years now. He’s very thorough and compassionate. I appreciate he and his staff for their care and dedication to their patients.

Every thing goes through good when I go to get my medical procedures done.

I was nervous about seeing a new doctor(my previous doctor did not educate me AT ALL about my issues) but Dr. Lonseth and his assistant Miss Caitlyn explained everything to me in detail and even showed me scans. They are very good with patients and care about their questions and concerns. Miss Caitlyn was there every step of the way even when I asked odd questions. I only recommend them.

My wife andI have been to several pain mgt doctors on the north and south shore. No one compares to effectiveness of Dr Lonseth and his well trained and professional staff.

The staff is courteous Dr. Longsepth is caring he doesn?t treat you like a number he treat you like a patient I?ve been coming for years and will stay Dr Longsepth has made me feel valued as a patient I go to get injections epidurals at least 6 months which help me deal with the pain left from my back surgery Thank you to him and the practice

No bedside manner, wouldn't even give me a simple muscle relaxer. Not very friendly at all & didn't care if I smoked weed for my pain because he wasn't going to write me anything even with the herniated disk, DDD, bulging disk & patellafemoral disease. There is no excuse but I did have to take a urine test, for nothing.

After spending 3 hours in the office, I was offered injections and I asked for medication to get me through after a MVA. He did not send medication to pharmacy over holiday weekend. I had to get another physician to prescribe something for pain. When his office opened, his staff stated he would not prescribe medication since I was prescribed something by another doctor. All he wants to do is multiple injections, he doesn’t want to help you, he just wants your money. Stay away! Don’t waste your time or money.

Dr. Lonseth and his staff are wonderful. He’s giving me my life back. I do annually injections which allows me to deal with my back pain. I started seeing him when he was with EJ. I consider him to be one of the top 5 doctors in my life.

Amazing doctor. He helped me to be able to walk again without major surgery and without pain medicine. Been going to him for about 10 years and travel to go to him.

I've been going to Dr. Lonseth for about 6 months. I am now looking for another doctor. I wait at least and hour for each visit. I have also had to call the office numerous times to remind them to call in the prescription. Now when I've been calling for weeks no one will call me back. Don't waste your time with this doctor and his office.

Lonseth is very comprehensive in his management of quieting pain. Trying to rid myself of pills, but the stimulator leads are difficult to keep a continuing response. My knees & legs give me hell.

Sad sad day for the new office people at dr.lonseths office. Again they messed me over for the second month in a row. Went in for a routine visit and the office personal said they called in my prescription. Called the pharmacy and they said they didn't receive it..called the office, they said they sent it.. Called back the pharmacy, nope didn't get anything. Some where somebody is lying. Don't think it's the pharmacy...js.... wonder when this office is gonna get it together. NEVER...

My doctors at Tulane Hospital highly recommended and referred me to Dr Lonseth. As a new patient he took time to get to know me as a person and not just a patient. He gave me my treatment options and I felt that he was honest, not pushy and very experienced at his speciality. I went forward with my lower back injections and I not feel like I made the right choice..my pain is almost gone.

I have been a patient of Dr Lonseth's for years...I simply adore him. He really takes time to understand that I have various spine issues due to a bad fall I had years ago. I know he is very knowledgeable has has helped with a variety of minimally invasive procedures that have given me long-term pain relief. He truly is the best doctor and I would never trust anyone else but him. Janet

I agree that ever since he has moved the wait time has increased tremendously to 2 hours on a good day! When they forget to follow thru on what they say they will do,the staff gets irritated and blames patients for their mistakes. In addition, any mistake they make warrants a new appointment to collect another fee. This is truly a shame because he is a good doctor and his management staff is destroying him. I'm sorry I will no longer refer anyone ever again

Ever Since Dr. Lonseth Has Moved His Office To Teuton St. The Staff He Has Now Does Not Have A Clue Of What They Are Doing. Have Been Waiting For 16 Days For My Refill That His New N.P. Said She Was Calling In The Day I Went For Appt. Have Been Calling About This, And No One Knows What Is Going On. ASHLEY Said It Was Called In, But My Pharm. Still Has Not Got It. FIRST TIME IN 11YRS. I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM WITH HIS STAFF. DR. LONSETH PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS!!!!!!! YOU ARE A GOOD DOC, STAFF?
