I had eyelid surgery six years ago. Everyday, I have pain and dryness In one eye. I have awful scars on both eyelids. I’m embarrassed with the look of my eyes that I always felt good about. I constantly feel that something is in my eye and a scratchy feeling. I feel he ruined my life as I knew it because of the pain and how my eyes look. With this constant pain, I have had to fight depression. The pain even wakes me up during the night. Having eyelid surgery was the worst decision of my life. And I believe choosing Dr Nelson was the reason for having such an awful outcome.

Very caring, took time with me. Call my family while I was still in the surgery room. Nurses called too. Had surgery on Friday and he called me Monday to check on me. One of the nurses called too.

he is wonderful! very nice and mild mannered. He has great surgical skills. I had a horrible tumor in my eye very difficult for the U doctors even to operate on and they wanted to remove my eye but thanks to Dr Nelson I kept my vision and had the tumor removed safely! thank you Dr Nelson

Dr. Nelson correctly diagnosed breast cancer that had spread to one of my eye orbits. A very rare occurrence. I am certain many other ophthalmologists would be likely to miss this since it is so unusual. I am grateful that he was not one of them.

Dr Nelson is knowledgeable, friendly and competent..I needed non-cosmetic eyelid surgery, and he was recommended by 3 different doctors.. I was very happy with the results and would recommend him to everybody. Dr Nelson is one of the first to be trained in his sub-specialty and I’ve been told he also has other doctors train under him!

i am thrilled with the results of my eye lid surgery to both eyes. In addition to the cosmetic improvements, my peripheral vision has improved greatly.
Dr. Nelson put me at ease and the surgery staff were wonderful. I can't imagine a better experience.
