Six for me....
Dr. Raimo has been my doctor for many years...he is my lifeline...after my husband, Mike, passed away he has helped me through 'widows fog.' Again, I have been seeing him for at least ten years or more. Very kind, empathetic and most importantly he listens and makes intelligent comments. He offers excellent tips on how to handle life and situations that come up.. I am fortunate to have him for my doctor. He's a good man.

Misleading information from Insurance company
Apparently the reason they HAVE to be listed as taking NEW patients is because there is a single therapist who IS taking new patients under his license. Ok cool - well I don't want to see this other person, I wanted to see the Dr. who has great reviews and whose name is on the listing, not some replacement that ONLY does in person sessions. Pass.

Dr. Raimo has been our family psychiatrist for a number of years and he has been our saving grace. Medication changes are done in order to find the best ones for an individual. He has the patience and heartfelt desire to help his patients have the best life possible. I highly recommend him to those who suffer from depression and anxiety or any other mental malady. Be prepared to follow his recommended advice and medications. We have all been crazy for years, so the time you devote must be months long for any of us to pull out of the pit of our devastating symptoms.

Dr. Raimo saved my life.
I was despondent and in despair with no will to live. After being 51/50 3 times, I was referred to Dr. Raimo by a friend, with a warning that he was no longer accepting new patients, but may be able to suggest another provider. He was so kind and listened to me without interruption He said I would get better and agreed to take me as a patient. He put me on disability and said he would review all my medical records A week later I was diagnosed and put on treatment. My suffering, anxiety, night terrors, depression, and manic behavior that left me so vulnerable, is now completely under control with ongoing adjustments, lab work and feedback , we have developed a successful plan that I understand. Its a partnership. My gratitude is endless.

I have been seeing Dr. Raimo for over 15 years. He is the most knowledgeable doctor I've ever dealt with (and I've dealt with lots) regarding medications. Additionally he isn't arrogant like many doctors and involves YOU in your own treatment plan.

Dr. Raimo does NOT answer the requests for refills on medication that isn't supposed to be dropped immediately. I have called several times about a refill that was supposed to filled so that I wouldn't suffer physical consequences of having it immediately dropped. This has happened more then once. You can't get ahold of him by phone, it is strictly recordings, and they don't answer the recordings! Find a doctor who responds to your medical needs.

Eric Raimo is a fine man; as psychiatrists go a good chemist. There is however a significant problem with follow-up on key requests which I made infrequently. He simply does not do all of the paper work and responding to questions required in his role. Be prepared to pursue his completion of tasks doggedly and yet he still may not communicate at all. Like most psychiatrists, he does not really counsel and does not have a good understanding of nutrition and wholistic approaches to wellness.
