Our experience with Dr. Sabonghy was great. He repaired the meniscus on my knee and the meniscus and ACL on my husbands' knee. I will recommend him to anyone. He's very knowledgeable in his craft and he makes you feel comfortable about what needs to be done and what he will be doing. The professionalism in his office excellent. His staff is awesome. If you don't understand something (insurance, etc.) they'll help you. They are very caring. We are very happy with the services we received from Dr. Eric Sabonghy and his staff at UT Health 10125 Katy Freeway, Ste.100 Houston, Tx. 77024. Vincent and Kimberly S.

Based on a referral recommendation, we are so glad we ended up with Dr. Peter Sabonghy and his support staff. The were able to spend ample time at the initial consultations, right before surgery and the final followup to get all our questions and concerns answered for my teenage son. We were provided with detailed explanation of the MRI and given photos of the arthroscopic surgery for his am's glenoid labrum tear. Russel and the support staff were efficient and friendly. We can also recommend the Memorial Houston Surgery Center. If given the option, get the pain pump. Worked great to numb the surgery area only. We used the sling without any additional add ons (ice pack, air pump). Since we were self pay, the cost total cost was significant, however, reasonable and fair. The Dr office visits, anethsiaoligist and surgery center were very close to projected prices. I am grateful my son had the best experience possible with this team.

Dr. Eric Peter Sabonghy, MD. is an amazing doctor. My orthopedic surgeon Dr. Eric Peter Sabonghy, MD. did my shoulder surgey mid-2020. He is very experienced in arthroscopic surgery of the shoulder and knee. He took the time to patiently inform me of the procedure I was going have, and made me feel comfortable throughout the whole process. No wonder that Houston Rocket trust him with the players' joint health!

Without hesitation I recommend Dr. Sabonghy. He has been my surgeon for years, first performing arthroscpopic surgery on both knees, and most recently reconstructing my shoulder after falling and landing directly on my shoulder. He has a very caring and professional staff. I have always been seen within 10 minutes of my appointment time. His PA, Russell, is quite very good and I have seen him for follow up visits.

I wanted to take some time to thank Dr. Sabonghy for the excellent surgery he performed on my right shoulder. Before the surgery I could not raise my arm up over my head without excruciating pain. It got to the point that I could sleep at night so I went to Dr. McDonald in Angleton and he referred me to Dr. Sabonghy. It was determined that I need a shoulder joint replacement. It has been almost two years since my surgery and my shoulder feels great. I am able to do the things I did when I was yo

Dr Sabonghy is a amazing Dr. I broke my upper arm in half. I went to 2 other Drs for 5 months trying to find someone that could do surgery on my arm. The first Dr pulled my arm to grow back together and it didn't work. He didn't want to do surgery on my arm originally is because the radial nerve could be damaged and effect my hand because I'm a hair dresser it grew back very crooked. Dr Sabonghy rebroke the arm and the radial nerve was between the two bones and he saved my arm and hand.

Had surgery on my left shoulder a few years back and it is better than ever. My physical therapy was complete in less than 8 weeks with full range of motion. With the amount of work he had to do it should have taken closer to 12 weeks. He gives honest answers to your questions. Reason why I am writing this so late is my right shoulder is now bothering me and I am about to make another appointment.

Dr. Sabonghy repaired my meniscus tear 11 months ago. I do not have any more issues with the meniscus but I have not had a pain free day with that knee since the surgery. Dr. Sabonghy did not have an answer to the pain that I experienced following the surgery. At first he said it would take three months. Then he said it would take six months. Then he said maybe a year. I am worse off after the surgery than before. Plus, he wanted me to pay for the followup visits due to the pain he caused.

Even though Dr. Sabonghy is a surgeon, he seeks conservative treatments first - after 2 knee & 1 shoulder injury, I've never had to have surgery. He explains everything in language that non-medical professionals (like me!) can understand. Also, I've seen another doctor in his practice for an issue outside of his specialty, and he's checked up on me when he's seen me there even though it's been over a year since I saw him. It just goes to show he truly cares about his patients!
