shows no care, and scares patient
A doctor should AT LEAST care what a patient is worried about. However, this person shows no care at all, and when the patient expresses worries, he scares the patient that it is a mass/tumor, he also shows no care at all when the patient becomes nervous after hearing what he said, and he just leaves the room and leaves the patient alone. He gives no further explanations, and just orders unnecessary CT scans, while all other ENT doctors afterwards (the patient doesn't trust him and starts to seek different opinions) all give completely opposite conclusions that everything is normal. DO NOT choose this person, is my only advice to you.

I really feel Dr. Wang is an excellent clinician. The problem is that he depends on residents in training to do the examination with their input. He really isn't the examining physician. I received different diagnoses and treatment plans because of different residents examining me each time. UPMC is a teaching hospital. They get paid a subsidy by the government as a teaching hospital and training residents. Dr. Wang is able to see 40 to 50 patients a day because the residents are doing some of the work. If you want to be examined by a resident in training with an increased chance of a misdiagnosis, this is your risk.

Dr. Wang was sure to make my husband feel like he was wasting his time. He told him to stuff cotton up his nose and when my husband did, Dr. Wang started laughing at him and told him that he looks ridiculous. He is just a regular ENT - He does not specialize in ENS like the office lead us to believe. "He said all the wrong things" as my husband put it. EXTREMELY rude and gave terrible news with a smile on his face. It was clear he didn't care in the slightest about his patient.
