Dr. Whittier is a very attentive doctor. He hears what I have to say and keeps accurate notes. Whenever I have a concern, he addresses my questions and explains what needs to be done. I do like to refer my friends to Dr. Whittier.

Very caring and compassionate. Dr. Whittier is our family physician. He absolutely reads our charts and stays on top of my many health issues and also my family's issues. He listens and is attentive. We discuss what options are available for whatever issue any one of us might be dealing with. Then based on discussion, we all come to a consensus/plan with him for how we are going to address or proceed. He refers people that need specialists. I would not let any issues outside of he/himself influence my evaluation/rating or feedback. He works in a system that controls how the office and staff are managed. He does not have control of any of that. He should only be evaluated on what he has the authority to do in conjunction with input from his patient. Highly recommend.

Dr. Whittier is one of the most compassionate doctors I have ever been to. He listens to my concerns attentively and respectfully, asks questions to gain clarity instead of making judgments, and I always leave feeling so relieved that I have such an amazing doctor.

Dr. Whittier. Excellent physician. Very thorough. Reads charts, test results and all info. He is pro-active empathetic, concerned and leaves no stone unturned. He exhibits characteristics not common in many physicians. He prioritizes based on what is clinically serious and also as to what bothers his patient the most juggling between the two but addressing both. He accepts an apology when a stressed out patient may be rude or speak out of turn. I know this for a fact.

A patient – Jul 06, 2018

I feel like a customer, not a patient, and the office staff is indifferent to rude. Phone hold times exceed 10 minutes and on-hold music is dreadful. Messages may or may not be returned, and withholding prescription refills is how the office extorts customers into coming in for unnecessary appointments ("It's office policy"). My Toyota dealer treats me better than SLC. If it were as easy to change drs as it is mechanics, I'd have already done so...but I'm still looking!

Not A Car in Denver – Jun 02, 2018
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Whittier?
I feel like most of my concerns are brushed aside when speaking with Dr. Whittier. I know that not everything I worry about is a big issue, but he frequently just offhandedly laughs off many of my questions. I know that some things really do matter, and I want to know that when those come along, my doctor will notice and help.
