Sad to see these negative reviews
Dr Wilcox has been my doctor since 2013. He literally saved my life being a pain in the butt chasing me down to get testing done (and as a result I went to get him to stop bugging me and found my cancer at stage one, still treatable). The issues happened when he was at RRH without enough staff and too many patients. He left RRH and will hopefully be back in his own practice soon.

Horrible
This office gives me SO much anxiety that I switched back to my previous pcp. Just dont feel respected, valued or heard. Theyre terrible at communicating test results and prescription questions. When I ask questions - I feel judged and will minimize your problems. Because of them, i’m unable to get my prescriptions in time. Find another practice who is less “busy”.

Impossible to see the actual doctor, even though the waiting room is always empty. Office staff is very unprofessional and rude. Last visit had to explain my reason for being there with office staff ( none of their business), nurse, and the PA. 30 of my 40 minute appt was telling my reason for being there. Wouldn't send my worst enemy there!

Doesn't follow through
Went for the first time to him and was good to talk to but I asked for a Fit to fly letter on Jan 26 to date Mar 18 fly out the 19th still no letter and that's after sending a message on Mar 13th with no reply even though its supposed to be replied within 72 hrs. Plus he sends me for blood work go by end of Jan and to date still haven't heard how the blood work was, I guess I am suppose to be a doctor and know how to read what they say. This has been all in all a horrible experience.

I've been going to Dr. Wilcox for a few years now. He's knowledgable, patient, a great listener and not one to jump to prescriptions or discount alternative approaches. I'm 60 years old and he's one of the best Docs I've used.

My spouse has not been able to see Dr. Wilcox for two years; he is grossly overbooked ad relies almost completely on his PAs. It has been impossible to get an appointment with him.

An excellent and thoughtful care provider who really listens to a patient and offers options that are not necessarily "pill first." First docotr I've had in 30

It was a relief to actually find a practice and a physician that takes their time in listening AND explaining. I've never felt hurried or rushed and walk out knowing exactly what the next steps (if any) are.

I was very impressed by the amount of time we spent on my initial office visit. He took an interest in getting to know me as a patient and my philosophical attitude toward health. He listens. Ask good questions regarding family history, and health concerns. He explains his approach to medicine and verbalizes medical terms in a logical and understandable manner. The staff are very courteous and friendly. The offices and examination rooms are very clean and appear to be up to date.

This is a doctor who truly listens and plans your care accordingly. He has a great deal of knowledge, yet is willing to recommend other practitioners with more specific skills when necessary, and is not against natural remedies, like so many in this town seem to be. Very personable and intelligent, he is a truly caring individual. He respects the clients' sense of their own medical situation, but is also not afraid to assert a differing opinion.
