Wolfman
I have been with Dr Erica Frank and four very different practices in the past 12 years. I am very happy that she has found a home with MGH Concierge Care and that so many of her patients have followed her - that is the real testament to the quality of any doctor. She is suited to concierge care where she has a limited number of patients under her care each day - and throughout the year. When she was with group practices led by BI and Atrius, she was always rushed because they required that she be scheduled to see upwards of 20+ patients a day. That didn't suit her personality or style of doctoring. She always took more time with me than allotted, she followed up in the evening with phone calls to my house to discuss issues further. If people are looking for a "quarterback", this is one of Dr. Frank's forte's. She knows and is respected by so many specialists at both MGB and BIDL, Joslin and Dana Farber, that she can get the answers she seeks and get you the appointments to see some of the top specialists in the country. She is empathetic, caring, personable and an incredible doctor. I cannot recommend her more highly.

She is just about the worst physician I have ever seen at Atrius. She spent the entire TOO LONG appointment discussing a problem outside her specialty that she knew NOTHING about. She was rude. Her office notes reflect her lack of knowledge and professionalism. I recommend that every one stay away from this nasty woman.

I am so very happy that Dr. Frank is my doctor (for a few years now). She really listens and cares deeply. My meetings do not feel rushed, as they did with previous care providers. Dr. Frank has the perfect personality (plus intelligence, empathy, education, and skills) to be a doctor. She has been an instrumental part of my losing weight. I really look forward to my visits with her. She is everything I have always wanted in a doctor (well maybe missing house calls..LOL). I highly recommend her.

Dr Frank is lovely but I did not feel she respected or really supported my thoughts and way of viewing my health care approach She is very traditional and seems closed to alternitive views. She made me feel she knew better...well I am a very well read and informed person and I need a partner in managing my medical care .
