A Year of Neglect Under MS Care
When I went to Dr. Parrotta, I had hoped for a smooth transition in my MS care. Instead, I experienced a very demoralizing and disappointing year. Beyond basic tests like squeezing her fingers, she had little interest in how I feared MS could leave me incapacitated. She did, however, fixate on my employment. Even though I explained that I already work online, she kept pushing a vocational rehab program. Each visit, she would bring it up. Eventually, she dismissed me entirely, saying it was for “younger more ambitious people.” That remark wasn’t only insensitive - it was cruel. That wasn't medical care; it was fearmongering and moral superiority. Her bitterness toward me continued when a prior MRI disk I had failed to work in her computer. She had limited familiarity with computers and online employment platforms. She insisted I use a cane, even when it was unsafe. I experienced numerous falls until I finally found another provider who got me the walker I always needed. Avoid this.

Excellent Caring Doctor
Friendly, casual and caring visit. Easy scheduling. Early morning visit started promptly on appointed time. All staff I dealt with from front desk to checkout was friendly, and respectful. I would definitely recommend. I’ve been her patient for three years and feel I’m getting very good care.

Erica Parrotta’s Profession Conduct Concerns
We are concerned that Erica Parrotta’s behavior has fallen short of expected professional and ethical standards, leading to emotional distress. Her absence of empathy, her frustration, and her elevated tone convey a dismissive attitude towards pressing health issues.During one appointment, she told me to circle my arms, only to laugh and say, 'Never mind, that comes later!' This left me feeling scared and hopeless about my future and condition. Patients deserve empathy and kindness, not the opposite. We aim to share this information to assist patients, their families, and caregivers.

Listening and connecting not her strong suit
I have never had a Dr. show me their PowerPoint presentation to prove to me they knew something. I felt this Dr. did not take the time to listen to me and treated me as though I was a waste of her time.
