I had a breast biopsy, which was performed by Dr. Griffin. To say that I was fearful would be an understatement. Dr. Griffin not only helped to set me at ease by explaining the procedure, but she did so with compassion and through the guise of someone who truly cared about my feelings. Through the procedure, her bedside manner was phenomenal. There were what may seem like small gestures to some, but to me, she made me feel as though I was not alone, through a very scary situation. The procedure was smooth, and the post-procedure was explained to me thoroughly, and a few days later when my results came in, she called me personally to explain to me in detail what they meant. I am grateful to have Dr. Griffin as a care partner on my medical team, and feel as though any woman would be fortunate to have her as a preventative partner in mammography, or in diagnostic. She is a fantastic breast specialist!

Dr. Griffen performed a sonogram after my first mammogram indicated abnormalities. She repeatedly said well we should get a biopsy to be on the safe side. But it is likely nothing. I said lets get that done asap. She said she'd make the referral. The appointment within her practice was over 3 weeks out she obviously did NOTHING to fast track the appointment. Additionally without my knowledge she made a referral to an oncology surgeon. I when I was informed of those to appointments. I got a biopsy appointment scheduled the next day with a provider that was not in her practice. Clearly she suspected something serious as evidenced by the appointment with a breast surgeon. She keep me in the dark and delayed my treatment which was a radical mastectomy. I have no confidence her ability to be forthright with her patients or advocate for prompt treatment. The surgeons office said they don't usually make appoints until that have a path report unless cancer is obvious.

I had a cancerous mass removed from my left breast 5 years ago. After radiation I was getting routine mammograms. I had a suspicious area at the surgical site and I had planned a trip out of the country with my extended family. Of course, I was very worried about the possibility my cancer had returned. Dr. Griffin went out of her way to get me in early so I could have the mass biopsied/removed 3 weeks prior to my trip. The procedure went very smoothly and I had no pain. The mass was benign!
