Worst Surgeon EVER! Should have license revoked
I was referred to Dr. Swenson for general anesthesia hospital skin cancer removal surgery by my specialist. Met with him to schedule the hospital procedure. Swenson said he could preform this in-office that day. I was confused as my specialist said this needed to be preformed at hospital. Figuring Swenson was the medical profession, I unfortunately agreed. He proceeded to give me a low dose injection of lidocaine and IMMEDIATELY picked up the scalpel. I said, aren't you going to wait 10-15 minutes for it to start working? He responded, 'No, it works INSTANTANEOUSLY'. I was uncomfortable as this was never my experience before but again assumed he knew what he was doing. I screamed in pain as I felt the incision and the warm blood dripping down. He raised both hands in alarm and said, 'Oh we should probably have done this in the hospital!' I asked for more lidocaine and was told that because we were Not in the hospital there was a limit to the amount he could give me. He tortured Me.
