Glad we found Dr. Zeger
Dr. Zeger put us at ease the minute we met him. A second opinion at the top teaching hospital in PA confirmed everything Dr. Zeger recommended for my treatment plan. I trust him completely and appreciate that he treats me as a partner in my own care. I ask a lot of questions and he never seems bothered by that. He is upbeat and interested in me as a person, not just a medical case. Humor and warmth go a long way in easing anxieties and instilling hope in the world of oncology.

Dr. Zeger’s decision making helped keep me alive.
I highly recommend Dr. Zeger for a five star rating. His expertise, skills and medical knowledge allowed him the opportunity to order appropriate tests, analyze results and research an extremely rare and aggressive disease. Additionally, he recommended top five star surgeons and a five star cancer expert who offered a second opinion and assisted Dr. Zeger in constructing a short and long term plan for survival. He assembled a great team of doctors to confront my serious disease. The theme of my serious medical journey is the fact that Dr. Zeger was the doctor pushing all the correct buttons in helping to keep me alive. Currently, I am eight and a half months post op and cancer free. Dr. Zeger is an extremely conscientious, skilled and knowledgeable doctor who does not hesitate in seeking expert advice or assistance in an extremely rare case. His warm, caring, friendly, positive and sincere approach is most satisfying to my wife and I. We are thankful for Dr. Zeger we love him!

Excellent initial appointment
Dr. Zeger was pleasant and made us feel at ease, took his time and was well prepared, had obviously reviewed my health history and recent tests and appointments with other doctors very well. He asked questions, explained his thoughts about things my current illness may be related to, and explained what further tests he wanted to have done and why. My wife and I were very pleased with this initial appointment.

Dr. Zeger, regardless of how busy, takes the time to talk about the whole person, not just the illness he is treating. He takes a genuine interest in getting to know the patient as an individual, a person, not just a patient with a disease process. He is PHENOMENAL!
