She has been beyond perfect!! I had a scary thing happen re my arm a year or so ago, and she went above and beyond to immediately find several drs. to have me go to, to figure out what was happening. And for my check ups yearly, she was great!!! She truly listens, and so very sorry to have to now find a Dr. closer to where we have moved to.

If you have a cold? Pink eye? A planters wart? Dr. Dawson is great. When it comes to the hard or difficult things, she's just not interested. I went in for an issue with my foot and when I got there I was shivering. Turns out, I had a fever. When the assistant told her I had a fever, I heard Dr Dawson tell her she thought I was there for my foot, and she sighed in irritation when it turned out I had another issue. Then when I suggested it may be caused by a bladder infection, she told me that a bladder infection wont cause a fever. *facepalm* The office staff aren't great either. I called in one time to schedule an appointment for another bladder infection I thought I might have and it was a Tuesday afternoon. When I told the office assistant I would like an appointment on Friday due to my work schedule she told me no, to go to the ER. Very nice, very professional, and seems to care enough. Go to her for the easy things. If you have hard stuff? Choose someone else.

I've been a patient of Dr Dawson for about ten years now. I can't thank her enough! She's been a wonderful primary care provider. She is quick to send me to any specialist I may need. She actually cares about her patients. She treats me like a real person, not a number that sends her checks. She's amazing, and I would recommend her to everyone.

After being her patient for several years now, she has been unable to get me in to see an Endocrinologist in The Doctor's Clinic network. An Endocrinologist is NECESSARY for the monitoring of long term diabetes. Having sought out an out of network provider (again, several years ago), I am now being told they will no longer work with my Endocrinologist and insteaexpect me to drive 45 minutes after fasting to get labs done in Gig Harbor (the closest Endo available for the past 5 years).Negligent

Because in all the years we have had her she has completely failed to make a single diagnoses. When my labs are exceedingly out of range, she stated well I guess that's your normal. My husband will die from the cancer she should have known he had...she had all the tools and used them, she just doesn't know how to read them.

biography

I had been working as a contract physician in various areas of the country since finishing residency and I liked the Kitsap area the best. The Doctors Clinic appealed to me because of the high quality primary and specialty care available within the group.
