Dr. Erin Thompson, MD

Seemed competent with the surgery. But - pre and post care was disappointingly lacking! She and her office staff just not helpful on muliltiple occasions. In frustration, went to Wound Care Center where they made a all the difference in the successful healing process. In hindsight, I should have gotten set up with the Wound Care Center before surgery and wouldn't bother with any post-surgery visits from Dr. Thompson. Her practice would benefit by listening to her patients and post surgery reviews.

I have had Dr Thompson assist me in a few surgeries this last year. She is so kind, thoughtful, funny and caring. I had one emergency surgery she did on me since I was already a patient for a different procedure she was going to do. On an appointment with someone else in her office I was explaining what I was having issues with, they suggested I come in and see Dr Thompson that day which turned into an ER visit and emergency surgery. This was the 2nd time I've had this surgery and her work was leaps and bounds better than the last surgeon with incisions, healing time etc. The second surgery she helped me with I had more time to think about, and by surgery day I was scared and crying when I was in the OR getting ready to be put under. She took my hand and told me I'd be ok and started talking to me about other things she knew I'd be interested in to keep my mind off what was going on. I just LOVE Dr Thompson. I'm referring everyone to her if they need surgery.
