Second encounter.
I came to the hospital for concerns in my pregnancy. Instead of accurately addressing those concerns, she kept questioning why I didn’t want to deliver at my previous hospital (she works there too), my medications and mental health history. I felt completely dismissed by this doctor and I remembered later that she is the SAME hospitalist that ignored my 160 over 100 blood pressure with protein in my urine two years ago with my first pregnancy. My OBGYN induced me the very next morning.

Not impressed
I was talked down to about my recent visit for mental health/high blood pressure during pregnancy. She actually wanted to focus on that vs hearing me out & doing any testing on the chief complaint I was having currently.. I had to request testing for preeclampsia since I drove 45 min to get there to be assessed. I felt humiliated by this doctor. After my results came back showing I likely have preeclampsia her entire demeanor changed & she began speaking to me like a real patient with a real problem. Treat your patient, not the chart you read prior to walking in. Pregnant people can have mental health problems & still have medical emergencies.

I’m a senior and Dr. Wilkey has made me feel very comfortable with the problem I have. She has a warm, friendly personality and takes adequate time to make sure I’m happy with the procedure. I see her every three months. She’s a wonderful, professional and beautiful young doctor.

Dr Wilkes performed my operation this spring and I have been very happy with her skills and "bed side" manner. I am old enough to have had a number of physicians and found her very pleasant and capable.

I highly recommend for 20 somethings. She answered all the questions I had, and she was very very approachable. I felt nothing but at ease. I was hesitant getting the Nexplanon implant and she conducted the procedure quickly and smoothly. I take other medications, and she remembered that when I saw her a second time. She actually knew about me as a patient. Only downside is that she isn't always easy to schedule with, but if you can plan ahead go with her

very poor and very bad bedside manner when it comes to my 15 year old daughter who needed surgery and talk to my child any kind of way i would not recommend her to see anyone under the age of 18. I am not satisfied as a parent of a patient which is my 15 year old daughter. very rude and very timid she just walked out of my daughters room and would not say anything and refuse to come back and talk to me as parent and very upset and disappointed in the Williamsburg obgyn doctors DR.
