That’s the problem there was no experience I waited over 3 months to see her and they had taken it upon themselves to switch me to a different doctor.

I've watched this practice go from small and efficient to large and incompetent. Doctor Maury was once great. Any message or question you try to get to her now will not reach her or will be so misconstrued that it's a useless effort. Medications prescribed are badly mishandled.

Bad practice but good doctor
I liked the doctor but had a billing problem. Nurses sounded bored with my questions and I'm put in touch with a barking man yelling about how he's the CEO. Of a doctor's office? I got the bill corrected without him but am afraid to go back to a place with such a bad vibe.

The good and bad thing about mid atlantic is the doctors are so nice. They'll hire anyone with an IQ so low that they require watering twice per week. Not worth fighting through this thicket to get care from the docs. Many better rheumatology practices in DelMarVa that actually function.

Amazing
Dr. Maury has the most amazing, highly intellectual skill that very few doctors possess - she's able to connect the dots! I have many unusual medical issues and Dr. Maury is able to see the big picture. She listens intently to my story until everything is fully discussed. She asks the critical questions, has intense curiosity, and will even consult with my other specialists to get the correct diagnosis. I always feel I'm in very good hands with Dr. Maury.Everyone at Mid-Atlantic Rheumatology are top-notch! They are friendly and professional, plus they seem to enjoy their patients and co-workers, which makes a very pleasant atmosphere. I highly recommend Dr. Maury, her entire team, & the excellent lab technicians.

Use to be favorite doctor….
Once Dr Maury expanded to her new practice in Millersville, her office staff declined. I was passed onto a new doctor, which I understand new expansion but whoever she hired as the Office Mgr, dropped the ball. They stopped taking my insurance and instead of calling me, they waited until I came in for an appt. They apparently hadn’t taken my insurance since the end of 2022. I was told the Office Mgr was behind but I should be receiving a call. What does they even mean? No one ever called and out of the blue, several months later, I received a voicemail that they were now accepting my insurance again and would like to setup an appt. I also called out for an appt due to a family emergency out of state and they still charged me $70. Dr Maury was my favorite dr. She took the time to really talk to you, to understand what was going on with you and to help you understand why it was happening. Such a shame, I’d ever go back if this is how you treat a patient. Left without meds as well.

Extremely likely!!!!
It is a very busy practice and waiting time can be long; she takes the time to listen, validate concerns and provide feedback; never feel rushed. Her staff is WONDERFUL and I always receive a call back if I call with a concern.

You won't find anyone better around.
Dr Maury spends a lot of time with her patients. I have never had a doctor spend as much time with me or be as thorough as Dr Maury. She cares about your whole health, not just why you are seeing her.

Long wait times to schedule appts. Long wait times to be seen even when you have an appt. Waits are an hour or more.
