Dr. Ernest Howard, MD

I keep hearing about how great Dr. Howard & Dr. Feeman are, & I would love to see them. They've helped my loved ones tremendously. Apparently, Dr. Feeman no longer sees patients, & Dr. Howard doesn't accept self pay patients. I was told the only location I could go to was their Decatur location. I've been going there for about 6 months. That location only has an NP and office staff. If you're looking for care beyond pills, things like: epidurals, nerve blocks, bloodwork, imaging, testing, etc.. No. You will only get the limited care an NP can offer. They don't even have a RN. The people at the Decatur location are AMAZING, but they can only do so much. With a sea of raving reviews, I wanted this to be known. The Decatur location, that Howard and Feeman own, seems to exist solely for them to collect money from patients they don't care about, and that speaks to their character. Unfortunately, I'm looking for another Dr., yet again. Thanks.

It is always Great, Wonderful, & goes Smoothly. The staff are very professional, polite, and understanding. All of my messages are returned within the time frame they have given in their voice recording BUT usually it has been my experience to get a call the same day if I've left a message before or within the first two hours of them opening. I'd fallow Dr. Howard if he was to change location. I'm very satisfied with Dr. Howard so much that I talked my husband into switching to see him. Dr. Howard is very CARING and CONCERNING and listens to you without interruption.

I was referred to Dr Howard by my hand doctor to test for carpal tunnel syndrome. I was able to get in within a few days and the office stayed open late to accomodate my visit. It was one of the best doctor visits I have ever had. The test was uncomfortable at times but the doctor did a great job in explaining every procedure and result. It was like he was treating me as a friend and not a commercial transaction. I heartily recommend Dr. Howard.

My mother use to see Dr. Howard for her pain management. He is the best Doctor he cares about his patients. We found him to be a very gentle and friendly man. We have moved now and we already miss him. I give him 10 stars, because 5 just isn't enough.

Couldn’t ask for a smarter, more empathetic, sympathetic doctor. I have many doctors, he’s the one that has gotten to the root of the problem. Willing to listen and explain more throughly your issues. Wish I had found him 15 years ago, but the last 3 years he’s made quite an impact on my life. I have been a patient of Dr. Howard's for 10 years and I cannot think of adjectives good enough to describe how highly I think of him. Dr. Howard gets to know his patients medically and personally, he asks about how everything in your life is going to make sure you are well all the way around. He is knowledgeable about so many conditions and I often use him for a sounding board when my other doctors prescribe a new treatment or therapy The office staff is friendly, professional and very caring, I think all doctors should be as caring and as thorough as Dr, Howard is!

Dr. Howard has cared for me for five years and i do strongly use the word CARED for me. He is a kind and gentle doctor with knowledge abound in his field of expertise and love of every field to do with medicine and good health. I have specialists from about every field with the MS and yet Dr.Howard I trust explicitly. I would send ANYONE to him. He's a fine man to boot!!!

Went in for a nerve test due to a brachial plexus injury. I was pretty nervous because I have lost the use of my right hand. Dr. Howard came into the room and immediately began to explain each step of the procedure. I could tell I was in the hands a very competent Dr. and felt confident that the information provided will assist me and my other Dr.'s the best chance of recovering use of my right arm.
