Great Doctor!
Dr Saxton managed my pain caused by thoracic outlet syndrome. She really listens to everything I said and when she moved from UCLA to Fresno I was really sad. I traveled to Fresno once a month to see her until it became too hard.I really miss her hugs, smiles and laughter. The opiate crisis made things difficult for pain management doctors unfortunately.God bless Dr Saxton!

Please do a check on this doctor. She is under probation with the medical board and almost lost her license for gross medical misconduct. She put my 22year old daughter on the maximum strength fentanyl patches within a week of first seeing her (for 15 minutes). I trusted her as she was head of the migraine department at UCLA before she was asked to leave. She then added morphine lollipops which are only given to terminal cancer patients and also added Klonopin. A week later my daughter was in a psych ward wanting to die. Dr. Saxton refused to discuss a way to step my daughter down from so many opiates and when my concerns about addiction were voiced, she dropped my daughter as a patient. I had to find and pay out of pocket to detox my daughter. The headaches my daughter was experiencing were due to too many pain medications. She was having rebound headaches. This doctor is horrendous. She had decided my daughter was suffering from a rare condition with no tests to verify. She wasn’t.

This doctor just keeps you on strong meds & never actually tries to fix the problem. I wish they would investigate her. My mom had her for over 15 yrs & this doctor had her on opioid meds, oxycontin plus others, you should only need for cancer not migraines. She would give 3 mos worth at a time. Several times my mom requested to ween off & Dr. Saxton refused. Finally my mom moved & now has new doctors that got her off the high dose meds & are actually trying to help fix the issues causing her pain. Stay away from this doctor, or be drugged up for life. The office staff is a joke also.

I saw Dr. Saxton several times back when she was at UCLA and she still is absolutely the best doctor I have ever seen! She is compassionate; she listens well; she cares; she has a sense of humor; and more importantly, she knows more about the subject of migraines and migraine treatment than anyone else seems to. I cannot recommend her highly enough!

I am very sad she is no longer with neurology associates. She always took her time listening to me and addressed my concerns. I dont Know if I will ever find another doctor that will even compare to her. She truly cares about her patients and she will be missed

She is the best doctor I have ever had. I am so sad that she is no longer with Neurology Associates. It was always a treat to get a hug from her and feel the energy she put into my visits. She will be missed. Diane Lingo

She is professional. Kind and caring beyond expectation. Immediately, one senses her genuine respect and compassion for her patients. Wish other Physicians treated their patients with such dignity. One of a kind.
