Dr. Erum Farooqi, MD

Dr Farooqi is caring and takes the time to listen and recommend treatments. I like that her focus is not to simply medicate but to determine the underlying issues and treat for wellness.

she decided that I was so fat that I have to use de injections and when my insurance did not cover it she told me, the cost is just 600 dlrs, pay for it if not tell me to schedule your bariatric surgery. I am overweight, yes, but is do not for bariatric surgery.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Farooqi, and I couldn't be happier with the care I received. Dr. Farooqi was incredibly attentive, she took the time to really listen to my concerns and address all of my needs. She didn't rush through the appointment, which is something I truly appreciate.Not only did Dr. Farooqi answer all of my questions thoroughly, but she also explained everything in a way that was easy to understand, making sure I felt comfortable with the treatment plan. It's clear that Dr. Farooqi genuinely cares about her patients' well-being. I left the office feeling confident that I was in good hands. I highly recommend Dr. Farooqi to anyone looking for a compassionate and knowledgeable primary care physician!

She helped diagnose me with a condition so many doctors before were unable to. She was attentive and listened to my concerns, I highly recommend!!

I have waited over 2 hours for her appointments on nearly 3 occasions, the other was 1.5 hours. Her response time on emails to her patient portal have taken anywhere from 3 days to 2 weeks for a response and then it was her PA. She has messed up medications for me and input insurance information incorrectly. I have changed since and would not recommend!My mother also went to her and She and I were told the exact same recommendation when we have 2 different issues.

Twice did not address the reasons of my visits.

I have been going to Dr. Farooqi since moving to Georgia in 2020. She is a wonderful doctor who takes the time to listen, thoroughly answers questions and shows a genuine concern for a patient's wellbeing. She is very professional and has been very responsive to my needs. She communicates well and is very good about following up with labs and office visits. She has a great staff. They are friendly, helpful and caring. I love that she is part of Longstreet Clinic and, as such, part of a group of professionals in several different specialties. The specialists that Dr. Farooqi has referred me to have all been of the highest caliber and I like that she coordinates my care with them and reviews their notes prior to my appointments with her.

I went here once and was seen in about 10 minutes. I came for my follow up at 930am and waited till 1015 am and asked the front desk clerk if there was an issue. She said this particular doctor always runs 30-45 min late. I asked if I should show up 30-45 min late moving forward. She said no. I asked her if she realized how ridiculous this sounds. She said she understands and it was not the first complaint this doctor received on this. I canceled my appointment and switched doctors.

I am leaving a rating of one star, because the system will not allow "zero". I went to this Primary Care practice because my previous P.V. MD was 20 miles away, and this practice was only 3 miles. BIG MISTAKE!!! The system for communication is HORIBBLE!! HORIBBLE!! HORIBBLE!! Did I say they were HORIBBLE? I needed a prescription renewal so I started with a call to This doctor's office, and my PDP on August 8/1/21. I called to advised that my PDP would be contacting them for a renewal, as I was out of the medicine; I had no remaining refills; and since I'd changed to a new doctor, the PDP required her direct approval. Several days later, the PDP called me to request I assist in the communicating with the Physician. The had sent three requests, without any response. To date (8/13/21), more requests from the PDP, and myself have gone unanswered. Maybe they don't want to accept the inherent risk of a 75 y.o. patient, in functionally good health.
