Dr. Esha Khoshnu, MD

Dr. Khoshnu was able to provide the right medication after listening to my concerns. I've spent several years on different medications and would have been better if I saw Dr. Khoshnu earlier. I can't say enough about how greatfull to find someone as knowledgeable and compassionate as her.

This is one of the most ridiculous 'doctors' I've ever seen in my life. My first appointment in office she kept her back to me for the entire visit. My subsequent visits were phone consults and were the most awkward visits I've ever had. She would never introduce herself when she called. During one of my phone consults, after I answered, she didn't introduce herself but just said 'How is your mood?' She then proceeded to tell me that having 2 glasses of wine twice a week was problematic and I should only drink once a year. My last (and final) appointment was supposed to be in office at 5:45. She started calling my phone at 5:08 while I was still at work, leaving messages saying 'Are you coming? I can't wait around for you'. This level of idiocracy left such a bad taste in my mouth that I didn't even go to the appointment. The most unprofessional doctor and practice I've ever dealt with and I'm a healthcare provider myself.

Dr Koshnu has been my psychiatrist for about 6 months. While she doesn’t have the best bedside manner and isn’t what I would call friendly, she does her job very well. The reason I say that is she has always listened to my issues and even asked me if I wanted to make certain medication adjustments. This is in sharp contrast to Dr. Wang, another in my area that I had before. Also, Dr. Koshnu has never been late to any of my appointments. I recommend Dr. Koshnu.

Horrible doctor

she was my doctor for ten years. Then one day I called the office and the secretary informed me that the doctor is closing the office and all her patients should find new doctors. Didnt know doctors are like that. For probably the first 7 years I went to her, I really couldnt stand seeing her. Her answer to everything was "you are bipolar and need meds". And I wasnt the only one she said that to. I really believe this Doctor needs to see a therapist. She has anger issues and I am worried for her well being.

She is a great dr not money minded and listen to the patient needs and acts like a therpist as well Thanks Vg

Terrible. She doesn't listen or hear what I'm saying. She tried to alter medication that another Dr. (my Primary) gave me. I told her no. She called me "angry & argumentative(!)" and then said no to a bunch of drugs (and the whole class) that would help me. What a surprise I'm angry, but I calmly explained to her my condition. She angrily told me that SHE's the Dr. and she won't be told how to take care of patients. But, she has no idea what she's doing! She's rude, nasty and incompetent. Avoid everyone in this practice at STA!

She bills insurance for 30 minutes. If I say things are good she gives me a lecture on Covid protocols and rushes me out in under 5 minutes! My scripts take several days to get called in -and sometimes for the wrong dosage. She claims we talked about the change. I think I can remember a 3 min conversation. We did not discuss a change.

I Think Dr. Eska Khoshnu is the Best. She Was Always there for me when I Needed her. I Would Definately Recommend her to friends and family I Was seeing her for 15 years She is the Best. She has always been there for me. I Cannot say enough about her.

She is the worst Doctor I have ever met. Doesn’t listen, doesn’t look at you. Im still waiting for her to call in a script from an appointment 1 month ago. Avoid this woman as much as possible!

She basically called me a liar. Make sure you pay her by check. If you don't have a way to record that you've paid your copay or you don't watch her write down that she marked you paid she will charge you again for your copay.

Does not listen to her patients or acknowledge a pt's medicine allergies.

My sessions with Dr. Khoshnu were by far the worst experiences I’ve had as a patient. Rude and aloof are the best words to describe her. Her desk is situated so that she sits with her back to you. I can think of only one instance among a number of sessions where she bothered to even look at me. Her style is paternalistic and borders on preachy and even hostile. It felt as if she were going through a checklist to meet the bare minimum rather than truly assessing my needs.

She’s like a robot. Sets un-realistic goals. What planet is she from? Oh, and make sure you arrive 2 hours AFTER your scheduled appointment time. It will save you from waiting in the decrepid office.

She has the personality and bedside manner of a lampshade. Expect to be in her waiting room for hours on end even though you had a scheduled appointment. She never knows why you're coming and never reviews her files in advance to be prepared for her patients. She makes it inconvenient to pay your bill and has no idea how to run a practice. The way she schedules appointments is extremely inconvenient and awkward. Her answering machine is so in audible that's it's almost useless. GO ELSEWHERE!!
