Dr. Esther Yoon has been my PCP for over 5 years. The services that I receive from Dr. Yoon is excellent. She explains lab results clearly in person or by phone to ensure that I am properly informed about my health and care. The clinic is clean and inviting, the staff are friendly and helpful. They always remind me of upcoming appointments and lab orders and respond to my inquiries in a timely manner. Thank you, Dr. Yoon! I am fortunate to be under your care.

Needs training in bias & sensitivity
Dr. Yoon's office is neat and clean, making appointments is timely & easy, her staff is efficient but not friendly, and the doctor herself is undoubtedly very intelligent, serious about her work, and high performing. What she is not: Respectful of different body types; curious about a patient's goals and desired health outcomes; comfortable talking about sex; sensitive to the patient experience; willing to have a dialogue about options. Agree with reviewer who said she barges into a room talking a mile a minute--that is the general impression. Dr. Yoon also has no compunction about criticizing test results and not checking in about mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and eating disorders before holding forth on portion control and eliminating sugar. Problematic and surprising in this day & age. Will not be back.

Dr. Yoon goes the extra mile for me and my elderly mother and always is responsive. Her new offices are beautiful and even though I'm in Santa Monica, I choose to drive to Dr. Yoon as she has been my PCP for many years. I am thankful that I have a doctor who is thoughtful and sees caring for me and my mom as family.

Don't go here. Dr. Yoon's office was the most unprofessional I've ever been to. First, when I arrived, the receptionist was not wearing a mask. She put one on when I said something. The doc recommended some vaccinations and said she would call my previous doctor to find out what I had, she never called. I followed up for 1.5 months to no avail. She told me after my lab work came in, she'd set up an appt. to go over it. It's been over 2 weeks since my lab work came in and they still haven't given me an appointment to go over it. Then all of a sudden she tries to video call me out of the blue, but I said we needed to SET up a call in advance, not just surprise me during a work day. What part of "make an appointment" is so confusing to them? 6 weeks late on the vaccination info, 2 weeks late on the lab work, no explanation or apology. Now I'm stranded and need to find a new doctor to review my lab work.

Dr Yoon’s delivery is so off. She barged into the room and just started talking a million miles an hour. This was the first time meeting her so it would have been nice to feel comfortable with her first. She brushed off the reason I was there and somehow made the visit about me having a baby. She was incredibly pushy about his topic. The appointment became a baby making plan for me and a checklist of all of the things I needed to take care of to have a baby. I feel like she had good intentions but it was so agressive and uncalled for. She was also concerned with my family history and basically made me feel like my two options were have a baby or get cancer in a few years. I left with so much anxiety that I cried on the way home and thats not like me at all. On top of that I still have unanswered concerns with pain that I went in for and I just went to pick up my two prescriptions and she only entered in one.

I feel she had her own agenda. She didn't listen and was not good about explaining results. Give her two stars because she did give advice that worked out.
