Very poor. Got me confused with other patients. Had a disagreement in the exam room. Ordered an MRI for my son instead of me. The list goes on and on.

No People Skills, Unprofessional and Rude
Does not listen, does not want you to talk. He will interrupt, and change subject while you are answering his questions. He will turn head and talk to subordinates when you try to convey your reason for visit. He told me he is leaving the practice. I would not be suprised if he was asked to leave. He told me 5 minutes into visit that he only gets paid for 15 minutes. For whatever reason he hates what he is doing and is terrible at it. He probable know medicine, seems knowledgeable , you just have to take what he gives you, without any empathy what-so-ever. I wish him luck in his future endeavors, good reddens.

Stay Away!
My insurance wanted additional information to approve a claim. The office would not provide the info, would not return the insurance company's calls. My insurance company says that according to their contract that they are not allowed to bill me under these circumstances. After months, I have been turned over to a collection service. My insurance company wanted to know if the practice was still around because they are unable to get a response. In addition, during my appointments, Dr. Colliver to busy talking to listen , always had a student and seemed to just want to show off his knowledge. Didn't even address my initial problem, which was solved with a simple Cortisone shot. That is why I went to another Dr..

BEWARE
Doctor and staff fails to contact your insurance company for approval before procedures. And if they do and get a notification of denied they NEVER tell you and you are STUCK with an outrage bill. Plus instead of working with you on the billing Dr. Colliver's office sends it straight to a collection agency. Billing department NEVER answers the phone or returns calls. If I could give a ZERO I would have. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS OFFICE AND DOCTOR.

Went for chronic back pain. Dr. Colliver did a thorough exam and noted that my diaphragm had ceased to work. While this was the last cause I thought of, he prescribed PT which cured the pain within a few weeks. I was impressed.

They did not get prior approval from my insurance for injections in my hip, so two of the injections were not covered. Instead of checking with insurance they sent my bill to collections. When I called my insurance, they said they would pay if the Dr. would submit the appropriate paperwork. After months of waiting and calling the billing department several times, I was told they were waiting on the insurance and would let me know the decision. They DID NOT. Instead of communicating with me or sending a bill, they sent it back to collections.....Their excuse....I signed a piece of paper stating I would cover what the insurance did not. Yes I will but communicate with me.....

Our complaint is not with the Doctor. It’s with the billing Dept! They didn’t get prior authorization as they are supposed to with Anthem Insurance to be “in network”! When we had our insurance try to get someone to talk to them from billing, no one would call them back or talk to them. Now we are dealing with collections because billing refused to do their job. They have 2 yrs to work with insurance. It’s been less than a year. I’m pretty sure what they are doing is against contract. How can they be in network yet charge the pts $250 and not bill or get prior authorization correctly? Even with anthem trying to help!

My complaint is not with Dr Colliver, but with his billing department. They didn’ submit my insurance claims, even though they told me they did. I was given a injection in my back without prior authorization, but I was told they had gotten insurance approval. I had to pay out of pocket, my insurance is trying their best to reimburse me, but they need the proper paperwork sent to them. I have a friend that went through the same thing. I will ever go back to this office!!

The doctor examined me and hurt me, then told me to go to his (!) spinal clinic next door. I requested PT instead, which helped greatly, but when I saw him again, he insisted that I was not better at all, implying that he did not believe my word that I can work out again at the gym because the pain is much less. And that space cadet PA!! Doctor cannot clearly explain anything, being disrespectful, and impatient. He has an obsession with another treatment, not PT. I will not go back there.

DEEEPEST THANKS, Dr. Colliver, for your caring and recommendations re: my back. I am truly grateful that you are working with me!! Questions 1. Did you see the results of my Nuclear Medicine Spect CT of my lumbar spine?. A family member asked me to ask you these questions: 1. Should I stop having back massages along the spine? 2. To what degree is the curvature? 3. Is this a progressive issue? 4. Is this a normal progression at ,my age? Another appointment? DEEP THANKS, Phyllis

I had low back pain that radiated down my thigh and calf. I began physical therapy which helped significantly, but the pain recurred. Dr. Colliver gave me an SI injection that completely relieved the pain. My job requires me to be alert. I cannot routinely take pain meds or muscle relaxers. I am thankful that I am pain free and medicine free!

Possibly the worst experience I have ever had with a physician. Nothing was learned at my visit that was not already explained to me by my primary care doctor. Pain is an illusion to him as having a herniated disc is not worthy of even the mildest of medication to manage.

We've had multiple apple w/ very little info. They schedule you w/PA whoasks questions that could be done over phone. Follow up is with Dr Colliver. seems great when you can see him. So 4 visits could've been handled in 2. also really favor & recommend their in house rehab (no insurance cov) over PT(licensed and covered). Staff is aloof and unhelpful. Demanded payment at last visit vs sending bill after being told I could be billed. Did not have HSA W/me so we had to leave. Very disappointed.

Office staff is misinformed about policies. Told I could not have results of diagnostic tests (done after the first appointment as an outpatient) without scheduling another appointment. Followup not supposed to be for a month, but to get the results, returned a week after the first appointment. Dr. Colliver was surprised to see me and told me that I should NOT have had to make an appointment just to get the "all clear" on the diagnostics- he said staff was training. Dr. is great, staff is not.
