opened my eyes...
i miss dr kisch. when he moved his practice, i was worried. he was so kind, attentive. he helped me look at myself in a different way. he put me in the present. i had been dwelling in the past. as far as rx, barely enough to shut down my brain...at least for the night. back to real life, i "hear" him saying, like a mantra: we're here TODAY.

I have seen Dr. Kisch for a little over 10 years between his Warwick and Fall River offices. I have felt that he mostly listened well and was appropriate with choices in medication selection. He has mostly been prompt in returning calls and lab work. Although he can be a little pushy about using certain pharmacies and labs, I did not find him to be arrogant as some other users have. I recently learned that he will be retiring soon and I will miss having him in my life. It’s not easy to find a good psychiatrist these days, and I hope my next one will be as effective as Dr. Kisch.

If I could say 0 I would. He doesn't listen. He talks over you. Ive never met a more useless egotistical Dr. based off of bedside manner alone. Id be shocked to find out he's not prescribing based off kickbacks and I dont trust him at all to be in the position over people that he is.

Horrible This was the worst experience I have ever had with a “treatment professional”. The Doctor was arrogant and rude. I had been referred by a nurse practitioner due to the death of my Psychiatrist. I had been taking benzodiazepines as directed and Dr Kisch decided not only to discontinue them but to put me on a detox so rapid that it didn’t even approach the standard of care for federal prisons. This by the way was dealt with at the counter and he was not the doctor with whom I scheduled the appointment. I ended up at Butler Hospital and was referred to a physician there who was wonderful, but traveling back and forth should have been unnecessary. Over a period of time I was stable through several years in Rhode Island and a move to to Florida for a few years. I have returned to Rhode Island and was looking for a doctor closer to home when I saw Dr. Kisch’s name and reviews that validated my experience with him. The experience with him was literally traumatic.

Dr. Kisch is personable and intelligent. He listened to my medication concerns and prescribed suitable medications for my current psychiatric condition.
