Excellent care
I had gone to see Dr. Rand for my chronic knee pain. He was very thorough in his examination and explained what he was doing, which made me feel very confident about him. He performed a procedure that helped immediately afterwards and relieved a lot of my pain. He had a very steady hand in injecting me; it didn't cause any discomfort. Dr Rand was so kind and selfless that he even spent his lunch hour on treating me. He telephoned me later to see how I was doing. What care! Thank you.

Dr. Rand was put in my path just when I needed him. Has excellent bed side manners. Explains everything in detail and seems to be very knowledgeable. After months of seeing other doctors and not having a confirmed diagnosis I was finally referred to him. Within 4 days of our first consult I was already scheduled for epidural injections. He went out of his way to call radiology to see why my mri results were still pending after almost two weeks (he was not ordering provider) and gave me a call that afternoon to inform me he spoke to radiologist and confirmed my diagnosis. Day of procedure he and his team and Nurse Nancy made me feel so comfortable and I knew I was in good hands. Next day got a call from him to see how I was doing. Highly recommend Dr Rand you won’t regret it. At the end of the day Kindness makes everyone and everything better.

Dr. Rand was very attentive, caring, thorough and professional with my mother. He explained everything very clearly and made sure my mother was cim She had been complaining of wrist and back pain for a long time and had no relief with medication or physical therapy. Dr. Rand gave her an injection in her wrist and her back and her pain has gone away. She is now more active and able to do more of the things she enjoys. I am truly grateful for all he's done for my mom and she will truly miss him.

Dr Rand saw me on very short notice and spent considerable time with me reviewing my films, reports and then gave me a detailed examination. He recommended an epidural for my herniated discs and his office did an outstanding job getting me an expedited approval from insurance. Dr. Rand followed up with me the morning after and couldn't be more considerate, concerned and involved in my recovery. I would recommend him highly

After several weeks of serious neck, shoulder, and arm pain, I was fortunate enough to have an appointment with Dr. Rand He diagnosed my problem and set up some procedures that were extremely helpful. Dr. Rand listens carefully, is patient, sympathetic, and empathic. I am a nurse and have worked in one of NYC's largest hospitals for almost thirty years. I hope in this time I have acquired some skill in recognizing an exceptional physician. Dr. Rand is indeed exceptional.

My experience with Dr. Rand was most positive. He was an incredibly re-assuring and attentive to my issues. His communication following any test or procedure was timely and informative. Dr. Rand never made me feel rushed during my visit and was always eager to answer any questions regarding my ailment. He is very much a "people-oriented" person and if any issue is in doubt he makes sure the team of doctors at the facility review the tests for conclusive results.

There are not enough good things I can say about Dr. Rand. He was not only educated, knowledgeable, and had terrific bedside manner (all minimum expectations for an MD in my book); he was able to assess my mother as a unique patient and not only effectively treat her condition but also put her at total ease. He is a gem of a physician in every sense.
