I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Dr. Chalas and her staff. She is very knowledgeable and empathetic, I’m not sure how there could be any negative reviews about her because she is simply wonderful. She has gone above and beyond for me as she does with all of her patients. You are in great hands if you have her as your doctor.

Horrible office staff, constantly rude & act like they can’t be bothered. Dr Chalas is dismissive & does not listen to complaints leaving you to suffer. I ended up w/ many complications from her surgery having to have addl treatment. She doesn’t follow up w/ you during chemotherapy, has the worst bedside manner of any dr I have ever been to, misdiagnosed me as having a recurrence, telling me there was no hope, when I didn’t. Stay clear of this office, there are much better Drs out there. The new doctor in her office who took over Dr Chalas’ follow ups literally just graduated residency and this is the first time she is working as a doctor. If you value your life or want any type of support during cancer treatment, don’t go here. Anytime I go to other Drs they are appalled at the care I have gotten and shake their head in disgust. I can’t even change to a new practice because of all the mistakes and complications from Dr Chalas, that no new dr wants to take on. The worst.

Dr. Chalas has a very poor bedside manor. Does not want to stay in the room to explain the plan thoroughly, leaves the job to her PA. When you have questions she just negates them or simply rushes through them without any concern for the stress and anxiety the patient is under. When treatment other then her recommendation is brought up, doesn't say why its a good or bad idea, just says " No, I do not do this". Wheres the explanation? If other protocols then just hers are out there, then there must be a reason/research behind them. No explanation. Just no. Please go see other oncologists for second opinion. Do not give up just because she gives you no hope! I SURVIVED because I went somewhere else!!

Within seeing me in less than a minute she gave me a horrible diagnosis without wanting to do any further diagnostic testing and just offered a surgical option. I forced the issue to have the testing done to confirm the diagnosis she gave me. It came back Negative and she still insisted I had that diagnosis. Her response was I know you don't like me and well obviously I can't help you.. what do you want from me. Seriously? I was finally diagnosed properly by another doctor which it turned out to be a simple dermatological issue. SHE GAVE ME WRONG DIAGNOSIS and had me walking around thinking I had something I didn't . She was totally unprofessional and I was totally disgusted by the whole situation.

Dr. Chalas operated on my elderly mother to remove a huge ovarian cyst. All the other surgeons we saw wanted to cut her open and remove the cyst intact. Dr. Chalas was able to remove the cyst through a small incision in her belly button. The operation took hours and she updated me throughout the entire procedure. Before hand, she explained to my mother why the surgery was necessary. She was patient and caring. I have honestly never seen a doctor saw compassionate and patient.

Dr. Eva Chalas Review At the end of the summer, 2016, I was diagnosed with stage 2 endometrial cancer. This was not the cancer 95% of women get in the uterus. This was clear cell carcinoma, the most aggressive form. Also I had scar tissue from another surgery. Dr. Chalas performed the 5 hour operation using laparoscopic procedures and I came through just fine. She recommended chemo and radiation afterwards but never forced me to make a decision. I thought she was excellent.
