Dr. Evan Schwechter, MD

Dr. Schwechter performed a total right hip replacement in January of this year. I'm doing things I never thought I'd be able to do again and it's only been 3.5 months since surgery! He has given me my life back and more. From the very first visit I knew he was the doctor I wanted to go with; he did not rush into surgery but instead examined every possibility first. It took me over a year to really be ready for this surgery, and once I was I knew I was in good hands. The recovery has been so seamless; my friends are amazed at how fast I am getting back to things. I am a long distance runner and not once did he dissuade me from returning to this. Dr. Schwecter believes in having one's life back to the fullest. *Oh and I love my beautiful scar; he did an incredible job.

Can’t believe how Dr.Schwechter has change my life I Went to see him because of a lot of pain I was going through due to my hip Little did I know it was both hips He performed surgery on my right hip on June 25, 2020 The outcome of the surgery was so amazing I was up and running in two weeks he perform the second surgery on the left hip I can’t believe the work he performed

3 months ago i had a patella tendon repair, basically reattaching part of my quadricep to my knee. When Dr. Schwechter first examined me i had no control of my right leg. He reassured me he could put me back together, i trusted him and he did. I'm healing beautifully and ahead of schedule and unfortunately I'm back at work ??. Being a 56yrs old active male i wondered if my injury would adversely affect my ability to do the things i enjoy, because of Dr. Evan Schwechter and his wonderful staff it hasn't. They were kind patient knowledgeable and extremely professional. When i thanked him on my final visit he said he'd only done 50%, and the rest was me. I'm gonna give him a full 75% and ?????

Dr. Schwechter recently changed my life by giving me a new hip! I had a terrible car accident in 2018 and despite having a surgery on my hip, I wasn’t able to live a normal life. As a 28 y/o male (who’s always been active) I needed to find a solution, but I was very skeptical when I was recommended to have a total hip replacement at this age. Well, I thought about it for months and to make the story short I wish I had it done sooner!! I’m now able to walk and perform daily activities with absolutely no pain the same way I used to before the accident and I couldn’t be more grateful for what this doctor and his team have done for me throughout this whole process! Doctor Schwechter is the best Ortopedic doctor I ever meet in my life. Dr. Schwecter is professional, personable and extremely capable. His initial exam was very thorough and he quickly accessed the problem. He performed a total hip replacement. The procedure went exactly as he described and recovery has been quicker and easier than anticipated. His work was even complimented by two different third party health professionals. One said he was "really good" at hip replacement. The other said "your doctor did a great job".

Dr Schwechter is my new hero, my hip surgery was a total success . when i went to see Dr Schwechter i couldn't walk, a few weeks after my surgery i was walking, thank god and Dr Schwechter.

I have been in the health care field for over 30 years and know what it takes to be an excellent doctor. Dr. Schwechter is one. He is a wonderful, skilled, caring person and surgeon. He replaced my husband's hip( age 71) a few years ago. We were so pleased with the outcome, I had him replace my hip also in June 2018 and we can dance once again ! We continue to recommend him to others. He is the best !

I've been working construction many years a friend of mine on the job recommended Dr. Evan Schwechter , MD for my knee surgery long story short I was in pain many years and now I'm pain free I ask please no staples or stitches I was also pain free because the surgical tape that he use. I am a 64 year old male who recently had a total hip replacement and could not have had a better experience. Dr. Schwechter is a very skilled surgeon and an extremely kind individual. He was a true professional from our first meeting right up to the day of my discharge which was 24 hours after surgery. In my follow up visits with him he continues to show the same.
