Excellent standard of care
I underwent a meningioma resection last year at UCSF and am extremely pleased (and relieved) with the results. The surgery, performed by a team of two neurosurgeons including Dr. Ezequiel Goldschmidt, was a 100% success. I met with Dr. Goldschmidt after the procedure where he explained some of the challenges they faced during surgery given the location of the tumor. I appreciated his directness, energy and enthusiasm about the positive outcomes. I've had several follow up appointments to monitor progress since then and in each case Dr. Goldschmidt has spent ample time with me and has been responsive to my questions. He, and his team, made me feel at ease for what was a difficult and delicate operation. He's a top notch neurosurgeon and a great collaborator with the best of the best in neurology at UCSF. My colleagues, family, and friends can't believe I underwent such a complex surgery. I owe a debt of gratitude to Dr. Goldschmidt and the whole UCSF team!
