Dr. F W Dieterich, MD

I was having 8/10 abdominal pain on Monday afternoon and my husband rushed me to the ER. I knew I was around 8 weeks pregnant so the hospital contacted to on-call OB Dr.Dieterich. Boy am I so glad he was on call. My OB is in Laguna Hills and I live in Yorba Linda but the pain was so bad I had to go to my nearest hospital. His bedside manner, his calming demeanor, his humor, just all of it put me at ease. He explained what was going on and that I was going to need surgery. I have (3) children at home so I was very nervous but he was calming and confident. When I was being admitted every nurse I encountered told me how much they loved him and what a great surgeon he was! Everything went well and I am back at home recovering! I am thankful for him and the nurses, my first time at a hospital for surgery and it was a smooth process. I feel like I owe him and everyone at the hospital a lot! It was scary but they were on top of it!

I love Dr. Dieterich! He is just a great guy.

Recommend this doctor if you want a knowledgeable physician who takes the time to listen to his patients.

I went in to see Dr. Dieterich regarding my growing menopausal symptoms. As always, he and his staff are very welcoming and warm. He listens intently and provides suggestions/ recommendations. He takes his time with you. I never feel like I am just a dollar sign, but a human being. A true rarity nowadays.

I have been going to Dr. Dieterich for about 19 year. He delivered my second son. I was new to the area at the time and always dread finding a new doctor. Dr. D is truly the best Ob gyn on the planet. My only worry is that he will retire one day and I will have to do the search all over again as no one can ever compare to this guy. He is thorough, straight forward, gets to the heart of the matter and tells it like it is. I like that in a Dr. Plus his sense of humor is the reason I have stayed all these years. I mean, yes it is important that he is the best in his field but being able to laugh and trying to make the best of the “dreaded yearly”, is worth it’s weight in gold. Very important to myself and my husband as he joins me on my trips to Dr. D’s office as well. You are the best Dr. Dieterich.

Dr. Dietrich has been my doctor for over 30 years, he is amazing. What I like about him is that he takes time with his patients and listens to them and cares about the patients. He is the best doctor and person.
