Dr. Fadi Hayek, MD

I have been treated by Dr. Fadi Hayek and Dr. Jessica Durk (Radiologic Oncologist) very SUCCESSFULLY, at St. Vincent (St. Joe) Hospital in Kokomo, In. When told of my diagnosis I was skeptical about the treatment that would be available in Kokomo, IN. I have been really impressed with the high level of treatment i have received. I have a medical background and the team at St. Joe, including doctors, nurses, and office personnel are excellent. Dr. Hayek saw me every time I had an infusion and always answered my questions and explained his answers.. In the beginning He and Dr. Durk met with me and my family members to present their treatment plans based on the diagnosis. They took about an hour , answering questions and explaining how the plan of treatment would work. About my third ;infusion, Dr. Hayek said he was "confidant this is going to work". Well, he was right. As of now, about 8 months after finishing treatments, i am cancer-free. Highly recommend Dr..Hayek.

Dr. Hayek has been treating me, in cooperation with Dr. jessica Durk, Radiation Oncologist. They are both super. Better cancer care than I expected in Kokomo. Dr. Hayek has seen me every week of my first treatment regimen and I'm about to start a second regimen, which he will supervise. He is honest, explains things, and is patient in answering questions. I believe his expertise is great.

My wife was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer in March 2020. She passed just a few months ago. We have been married 44 years and it has taken me a while to write about our experience. Dr. Hayak, Sherry and all of the nursing staff at the Sue Ann Wortman Center were so kind and supportive throughout Brenda's battle and were available to us 24 hours a day. They became like family. No doctor could possibly be any more honest, sincere, caring and devoted to his patients. There was never a doubt that she was receiving the best care possible. I think we had several months to love and cherish each other that we otherwise would not had it not been for Dr. Hayek and his group of angels.

Very good Dr. Explained things very well. Was very responsive to questions. Never made us feel rushed.

Anemia. Was given 2 iron infusions. Started feeling great after about 1 week after the 2nd infusion. Very satisfied with Dr. Hayek

i had one appt w dr hayrk-which led to incorrectly scheduling of a biopsy..which resulted in yet another improperly scheduled 'appointment' biopsy results by his office (that i never received : had to go to medical records myself for results 12 days after biopsy. (IF this office schedules you for ANYTHING its advisable to confirm dates/times with providers.) Hard to believe a medical office is this poorly run in the 21st century

We love Dr. Hayek. He is always thorough, considerate and compassionate. He was highly recommended by my cousin and never disappointed. Very knowledgable doctor.

Our family had a pretty rough experience with this guy! His bed side manner sucks! He told my mom she did not have cancer that she just had a canceroid. She asked him that day why she felt so bad then. His response was "I thought you'd be happy Deb!" He informed her her illness could be controlled with pills and a shot once a month. 6 very short very hard weeks later we lost our Mom. She was still young had she been treated for what she actually had maybe she'd still be here today. The nurse called the day after my mom passed to ask how she was doing. She is a very sweet lady. But that was rough after what he had done. In my opinion i would get a second opinion if you go here just to be sure. For some maybe he's done well. For us he crushed our entire family in a matter of 6 weeks!

Dr. Hayek is warm and friendly. He genuinely cares for his patients. He listens to me and never rushes my visits

Dr. Hayek was very polite and considerate. He spent his time listening to me. He showed up to the appointment well prepared after reviewing my medical history. I'm very satisfied with my visit to his office.

He treats you as a human and not just a number like some of the other Doctors I have dealt with.
