Surgery
Dr. Nasr is simply the best! He did 4 surgeries on my spine and I now have 2 rods and many screws and fusions from my neck down to my tailbone. The surgery was successful. Now I just have arthritis everywhere.

Miracle Worker
After 3 back surgeries by a different surgeon and still being in terrible pain, I fell and hurt my back. My pain Dr referred me to a back Specialist. He showed me where the 3rd back surgery had never fused after 2.5 years. The surgeon that operated told me it had fused! The Specialist referred me to Dr Nasr for a full back repair. Dr Nasr's surgery schedule was booked solid for 8 months out so I sent my CT results to every NeuroSurgeon in Oklahoma and the metro Dallas area. None would take my case because it was too complicated. 3 months after my first visit with Dr Nasr I had fallen 7 times, the 8th fall severed my spine. I was rushed from Norman to Mercy Hospital where Dr Nasr did emergency surgery the night before Easter. In the OR the equipment that registers spinal activity showed I had none. I would likely never walk again. By the Good Lord and Dr Nasr's blessed skilled hands I was walking after 2 months of rehab. Dr Fadi Nasr is my miracle.

The Best Neurosurgeon
January 2003 - I was hit by a man running from the police doing 125mph. Since then, I have seen multiple neurosurgeons & had multiple surgeries on my spine & skull. I was left crippled & in excruciating pain by these surgeries. Then I found Dr. Nasr. Because of him, I will never let another surgeon touch me. He is the best there is! He literally saved my life. He fixed what those other surgeons broke! I can walk again, thanks to Dr. Nasr. I am one of 3 of his patients that has a complete spinal fusion. I am fused from the base of my skull clear to my pelvis with multiple rods, screws and a plate. I have both posterior and anterior fusions. Metal detectors love me! LOL He is kind, caring & extremely knowledgeable. He is NOT arrogant or narcissistic about what he knows. His compassion is off the charts! He RESPECTS his patients. He LISTENS to his patients. He CARES about his patients. He is a BLESSING to his patients. There isn't another neurosurgeon like him! THANK YOU DR. NASR!

Getting better every day
I had been through pain management, chiropractic treatment, and physical therapy but nothing was helping my back and leg pain until I met with Dr Nasr. He actually looked at my xrays and showed me what was wrong. I ended up needing fusion of my L2 through S1 vertebrae. Now the PT is working to help with balance and flexibility after the surgery but I no longer need a cane and I can walk without fear that my leg will suddenly buckle under me. The staff at the spine hospital are awesome and really took good care of me.

Got my life back
Had gone to 2 different Neurosurgeons in Tulsa. My presentation was non-typical. They couldn't accept I had pain were I did, and didn't have pain where I should. Was sent to Pain Management where I endured epidural steroid injections, facet injections and ablations. Nothing helped more than a couple of weeks. 3 years went by and I was unable to work due to the pain. Finally, at my request I was referred to Dr. Nasr. I had a C/5-C6 discectomy and fusion that went great and 3 months later had a L/4-L/5 complete discectomy and fusion. I woke up from surgery and for the first time in 4 years my legs no longer hurt. I was literally up walking in the halls within that first hour back from surgery. I am an RN, I have been back to work for over 2 years now. 2023 was the 40th year in my profession. Dr. Nasr and the team at the Specialty Spine Hospital gave me my life back.

Dr. Nasr and the whole team at the Spine Hospital were amazing!! I’ve had back pain for years and recently discovered that I had a mass between L1-L2. It was entangled in all the nerves and had started to grow on the spinal cord. He had warned me it could be risky because of where it was located. I’m only 4 days after surgery, but I have no hip or leg pain!!!!!! I have battled this for years!! I’m so thankful and looking forward to my pain free life!! I would give him 10 stars!!

Dr Nasr did my back surgery. It has been about 4 years now since I had 2 rods and 6 screws put in my low back. He always makes sure you know what is happening. He is an excellent surgeon. The pain was greatly reduced. Still hurts some but not like before. Thank you Dr. Nasr

Dr. Nasr did my back surgery. L4-L5. I was in terrible pain. Couldn’t sit or stand due to blown disk. Surgery totally alleviated my back pain. Within 2 weeks or less I was up and going without any difficulty and without any pain. Very nice and attentive physician.

I was recommended Dr Nasr by two separate people, that he did back surgery on. I had pretty bad degenerative scoliosis. 70° curve in the top part of my spine, a twist in the middke and a 50+° in my lower back. My scoliosis was getting worse very quickly in my 50's. I had a consultation about putting rods in my back with Dr. Nasr and he did all the necessary tests to determine if I was healthy enough to withstand syrgery. Nov 27th, 2017 we did it. No regrets! Dr. Nasr is ighly recommend!

Had microdiscectomy L2 L3 in October 2017 and was at least functional pre op but in 3 months was unable to walk 25 feet without walker because of a larger recurrence than before surgery. Had repeat MRI and sent to his office requesting he call me to explain what happened and what could be done about it. I live 9 hr round trip from Oklahoma City and was in excruciating pain and not wanting to make the drive if I did not have to.. Being a physician was quite disapointed in the lack of attention .

Dr. Nasr put me completely at ease and was very thorough in explaining all options for my lower back and surgery. I am two years out from surgery and can stand for a couple of hours, walk for miles and run circles around many of my peers. I cannot thank him enough for helping me to add quality to my life.

I was a nurse for 20 ears and IMO, Dr Nasr showed just the right amount of confidence in his skills with0ut becoming arrogant. He has a pleasant and courteous bedside manner, is more than happy to answer questions, and has a calming presence. His assistants and associates are very welcoming and make sure you have all the names and info you need to make informed healthcare decisions. I would highly recommend Dr Nasr and his staff.

I have had two surgeries in the past 3 months for a complicated back issue. His care and surgical skill have been excellent. He answers all my questions and never tried to pressure me into surgery. I could not be any more pleased with his care and that of his staff. My pain is relieved and with his care I am returning to a normal life. He is five stars for sure.

Amazing. So nice and caring. Surgery on my L5/S1 disc, and my leg pain is so much better. Going weeks without leg pain is a new thing for me, and I haven't had that happen in over a decade. He'll take as long as is necessary to clean everything up. He's amazing and his staff is as well. I'm so thankful for what he did for me.

Dr. Nasr performed a posterior fusion ( T10-S1) and an anterior fusion (L4-5) in two separate procedures in the summer of 2015. The pain which radiated down my right leg and out by great toe was gone when I awakened from my first procedure. I am so grateful for his skill and caring.
