Poor Standard of Care
I've had a highly disappointing experience with Drs. Fahad and Asad Omar at Pulmonary Sleep & Allergy Consultants. These brothers treat patients like products on a conveyor belt, rushing through appointments without genuine concern for personal health. They see you as a number, a dollar sign, rather than an individual with specific medical needs. Their follow-up is non-existent; I've had to chase them down for everything, including my CPAP machine, which I still haven't received two months after my sleep study. Despite my apnea contributing to AFib, their lack of urgency is alarming. Advocating for yourself is a necessity with these doctors as they make everything difficult and frequently reschedule appointments. There's no standard of care here. Moreover, I would recommend reviewing Dr. Asad Omar's Texas Medical Board profile. Avoid this practice if you value your health and well-being.

He’d have preferred I’d died
He was my doctor in the hospital when I can down with pneumonia. He diagnosed me with COPD before he ever saw me, and recommended the hospitalist just ventilate me and see if I can make it. My wife protested and told him to talk to my normal doctors. She asked what means he used to diagnose me and he said it was in my chart. Lies. All lies. After my regular specialist talked to him Dr Omar gave me excellent care and made sure I pulled through. That tells me he is a capable doctor that just doesn’t care.

Terrible Service
These brothers employ the worst front office staff. They never know what is going on and they cannot help with simple tasks. They say something has been done and then a week later you find out that in fact it has not been done. I have never been physically evaluated by either one and the NP's do not have the tools needed to accurately evaluate a patient. Don't waste your time. Find a practice that you are not just a number and payment that they can bill your insurance for.
