Very uninterested in helping me
I was referred to Dr. Saeed after reporting joint pain, chronic fatigue and a positive ANA. When I went in to the appointment, Dr. Saeed explained everything .It felt like he was very knowledgeable and wanted to help me. He explained that we would do a lupus panel annd some RA testing and go from there. I asked if the cause could be osteoarthritis, and Dr. Saeed stated that that would be VERY rare. After doing some tests, nothing appeared. So I asked what the next steps were. The reply stated that it could be fibromyalgia or osteoarthritis, and I would need to go to my PCP for either of those diagnoses. I asked my PCP about this and she stated that this was Dr. Saeed’s job as a rheumatologist to diagnose those. In my file it states that I think I have RA “despite being diagnosed with osteoarthritis “, but I was told this was a possible cause, and that he COULD NOT diagnose osteoarthritis. I felt at that point he was completely uninterested in helping me and that I was an annoyance.

Didn't listen and wrote me off.
Telehealth
I knew he didn't care when we had our virtual visit. I've been sick for 8 years. He was a new rhuematalogist but only ran 3 tests. I'm sick of doctors not listening to their patients or trying to find out what's wrong with them, especially after only running 3 tests. My spine is now growing together, which is another autoimmune disease, severe dry eyes which is causing me to lose my vision, tearing tendons for no reason and thyroid issues. If he doesn't want to help patients, why be a Dr,? Don't recommend this dr at all.

Scheduled a follow up 6 weeks out from my diagnosis. They called 2 weeks before to tell me the Dr was unavailable that day and scheduled me a total of 13 weeks out from my initial appointment. They clearly don't care.

He stated that my symptoms were confusing and he couldn't help me. Another rheumatologist diagnosed me with psoriatic arthritis and has my symptoms under control. I don't understand why I had to continue to suffer and then pay another doctor to make the diagnosis.

Dr. Saeed did not take the time to review the tests he ordered, I had questions after I read the results on my chart online, doesn’t seem to care about your symptoms at all. I’ve noticed he has changed to several practices over the years.

I was referred to a rheumatologist by my PCP. Dr. Saeed ran a few tests, but didn’t explain the results to me. He said I may just have an autoimmune disorder and just take ibuprofen for the pain. He was not helpful at all and didn’t even try to figure out what was wrong. I will not go back. I do not recommend him to any one.

The doctor said he would schedule some tests which he did not explain the need for nor have they even been scheduled after 3 weeks. He did not seem inclined to help me, only telling me he was absolutely certain I had nothing autoimmune related despite being referred by my oncologist because of suspicions that my ailment was autoimmune related based on previous test results and current symptoms. Overall, it was a waste of a visit and I do not recommend this doctor.
