Unsubstantiated urging to have surgery or meds
Had mild pain in my chest. Understandably, his staff put me through intensive tests. In a follow-up meeting that lasted 1 minute, he bluntly told me that I had Coronary Artery Disease, provided no other information, and asked if I wanted surgery or to be put on meds. I said I preferred meds. Next, I went to another cardiologist for a second opinion who found that my carnary arteries are "wide open like freeways," and that I didn't need any surgery. He also took me off of Dr. Iftikhar's cholesterol meds which "you don't need." Decide for yourself whether you want to go to a doctor like this.

Will never go back
Will never go back. Just wantedvtest after test after test then never explained anything to me. My halter monitoring was 4 hours until the halter device broke apart. He struck me as arrogant. His staff in the front just cant get the claims to insurance correctly. Just no.

Very caring Doctor. He explained all the tests he wanted, the reasons for doing them, and when finished, he explained the results thoroughly. I appreciate his knowledge, his courtesy, and his concern. His staff is courteous, caring, and thorough.

If I could have given him a "0" I would have. This s the most arrogant, uncaring doctor I've ever met. He never looked at me the whole time I was in his office for the initial appointment. He made assumptions about my blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar without even looking at the lab report in front of him that told him all those numbers were perfect. He would not talk to me further until I paid for very expensive testing. Then after that he wanted to do a heart cath because those tests didn't tell him anything. I'll never go back. His office workers are very nice and fairly easy to work with.

Absolutely terrible experience!! This is the most dishonest doctor's office I have ever dealt with. I set expectations that my insurance covered preventative services 100%, and that I only want their services if they will bill the insurance properly. They said they would, and then file my claim as a specialist for more charges to me than should have been placed. They give me the run around about billing and end up having to file disputes. Horrendous overall experience.

Charges entirely too much for a visit. Would not recommend due to cost, low quality echo results and lack of educating patient on diagnosis.
