Good Doctor, The receptionist is AWFUL.
I just want to start off by saying that Dr. Anwar treated me very polite and was professional. The same cant be said about the rude and aggressive receptionist. Whenever I had a question or concern about an appointment, she would first give me the most vile stare and would procced to reply to me in the most condescending and passive aggressive way you could ever imagine. However, what made me change her as my PCP was an incident in which I was told that I had to make an appointment to get blood drawn... I was not only rudely told by the same receptionist that I should already know how to make an appointment but when the day came to get my blood drawn they had never sent the order to the lab so I waisted the labs time and my own. As soon as I found out about there mistake I called them and was met with the same rude and vile behavior, they made it seem like I was the one who misunderstood there directions. Please find someone else to be at the front, we should not have to suffer.

Front office is strange and very unprofessional. Unsure doctor is even aware of their behavior as they are the go-betweens. There is a high likelihood these positive reviews are inside submissions as it's both ends of the spectrum. A poor experience usually results in a low rating where a person feels compelled to forewarn others while a positive experience results in an offline referral. The less-than-stellar reviews ring more true in my opinion. True to form, there's a snarky sign in the office telling patients not to question Dr. Anwar's education. Nevertheless, my family will neither return to this facility nor recommend. Many physicians in Texas, so find one that's a partner in your family's wellbeing. Good luck!

Dr. Anwar treats the "whole" patient. She has helped me through depression, heart scares, weight gain, asthma, diabetes, teeth problems, high cholesterol and other health issues. I had a fear of doctors when I first came to Dr. Anwar. Past doctors had been very condescending and I felt very disconnected from them so I avoided them (which is not a good idea for a diabetic.). I have been her patient for over 10 years and I feel I am much healthier than my first visit 10 years ago. Dr. Anwar has helped me become more responsible for my own health. She listens very well and at times has given more than one option for my medical problem. I see her four times a year for my regular diabetes checkup in addition to any time I am Ill. Her office is run very efficiently with the same staff members who get to know their patients. I feel that Dr. Anwar has been responsible for extending the quality of my life and for that I am very thankful.

Dr Anwar has been our doctor since 2008. I also know there staff since that time as well, efficient and friendly . Dr Anwar is always focused and as i can only comment for our family, her diagnosis has always been on dot . I have compared her diagnosis and treatment with what specialist had recommended in two instances and felt very confident as her being our family doctor. We have pediatrician for our kids but now I have started taking my kids to her as well, as the office gives appointme

She has been my doctor for years. She is the best doctor that I have ever been to see. She helped my daughter with a very dangerous infection that started in Ecuador. She should have lost her toe but instead still has it today.

If I could give a zero, I would!!! The worst experience ever! My son had severe skin allergy had to go there since their office is in the neighborhood. I called and made sure they accept our insurance, and they gave us an appointment. I even had to pick this DR. as my son's pcp the same day I made the appointment. The disappointment is after all the hassle I GO THROUGH, MY SON HAS BEEN DENIED CONSULTATION just because we pick Anwar AS HIS pcp THE SAME DAY!!! I can't believe how inhuman

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST DOCTOR'S OFFICE I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Dr. Anwar does not care about her patients, to put it simply. She measured me, weighed me, and rushed me into my room. I kid you not, I was out of there in about five minutes. Her receptionists are the WORST part about this place. They have zero respect for the patients that come here. This place is also very unprofessional as they don't adhere to their business hours. I tried to come in today and they weren't open until 3:30 PM
