Disappointing after care.
My lumbar surgery with Dr. Limonadi took place in early February 2022. I began to have concerning symptoms related to the surgery in the Spring of 2023. I tried to get a follow-up appt with Dr. Limonadi multiple times without success from April through November. As my pain and disability were getting worse, I was told to plead my case to the Emergency Room or wait till next year. Finally, I gave up and went to the surgeons at Loma Linda Neurosurgery who so far have given me four visits, eight new tests, and a complex diagnosis that fits all my symptoms: Flat Back, Proximal Junction Kyphosis and Coronal Deformity. I am waiting on the scheduling of a three stage revision surgery which will be done over the course of the week at Loma Linda. Because the proposed revision is so extensive, my Loma Linda surgeon encouraged me to get a remote second opinion from a respected third party. I anticipate receiving this opinion from Cleveland Clinic early next week.

most caring ever
This doctor is the most CARING and proficient physician I have ever met. He will spend as long as needed to make you comfortable. He operated on me twice, and saved my life with his skilled hands and even bigger heart. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs a neurosurgeon. By far the best!

He knew EXACTLY the right procedure for me...
He explained different procedures for my problem. He was so intense and knowledgeable about all options and outcomes. He made the choices clear. I saw his eyes and knew I was safe under his care. He even stepped in to assist me in contacting my other Dr's that were involved in my case. He did not have to do it, but he said I needed answers from them NOW. He is ALWAYS looking after MY best interest, and he is very sincere about helping me. What a maestro and wonderful Doctor.

The Best - Been seeing him annually for 3 + years
I was referred to Dr. Limonadi years ago. Annually Dr. Limonadi checks each new years' MRI results as he monitors a tumor that I have. Dr. Limonadi LISTENS, & explains what the testing shows each year. I have always found him very comforting, and helpful to talk to. His office is run efficiently, and Esther is great in helping to have appointments run smoothly. No matter what other larger issues, problems, traumas or surgeries the doctor is coming from - he enters my appointment room- totally ready to deal with my issues. He deals directly with my MRI's comparing past and present... and is involved in resolving any issues, questions or concerns I am having. It is a blessing to have a doctor that is helpful and that you can trust.

Loved Dr Limonadi and staff
Esther was fantastic.....through and very kind. The Dr is amazing. Even though I didn't have a back issue he was very informative discussing bone density and overall health. Excellent listener and answered all my questions. Very calm personality ..... an overall great experience.

Be very cautious
Do not use this doctor. Getting a second opinion was the best decision we ever made. I went in and got a scan and they found a brain tumor (told us is it was non cancerous Meningioma), and they were rushing me into surgery. Thank God we did not listen. They were ready to cut my head open, and turns out it was stage 4 cancer that isn’t operable. He was completely negligent always get a second opinion. Do not recommend.

Dr. Limonadi is more than an extremely competent neurosurgeon, he is a caring human being with an excellent bedside manner. If he hadn't been on my husband's medical care team, I doubt that my husband would have survived his two craniotomies. Doctors like him are rare, I have come to learn.

WRECKLESS, BE CAUTIOUS He made a surgery suggestion based on MRI images. For the major neurosurgery that he was recommending, I was surprised he didn't ask to see CT scans. We left his office feeling scared and rushed into surgery we didn't know too much about. That is NOT how you want to feel. We sought another opinion from another neurosurgeon (who requested a CT scan for accurate diagnosis) and he diagnosed my father with a condition that Dr. Limonadi did not see. Long story short: if we went the surgery route that Dr. Limonadi recommended, he would have risked tearing the cerebrospinal fluid. If you leave a doctor's office feeling scared rather than reassured, that's a BAD SIGN!! It was very dangerous for him to give a consult without asking for CT scans. This is a matter of life and death!! If your gut tells you to seek another opinion, DO IT!!

I believe if you need a neurosurgery and you want a doctor who will give you the answers to all of you question. If you want a doctor who, at the time of your appointment, will make you feel like you are the only patient he has and that you stay calm you want Dr. Limondi. His nurse Esther, is on top of every detail. The front office will help you with paper work. I would recommend Dr. Limonadi to everyone.

I was very nervous about the procedure but Dr. Liminadi and his staff put me at ease. He explained everything in great detail and promised me that he could fix my problem. I am six months out from my lower back fusion and feel incredible!! Although sometimes you wait a long time to see the Dr. at your scheduled appointments, it is worth it.
