Not a great experience
We were referred to Dr. Farzam by my son's pediatrician, for an incidental finding on a brain MRI which was done for headaches. A radiologist I spoke with assured me that this incidental finding had no clinical importance, but I followed my son's pediatrician's advice to follow up with Dr. Farzam. I brought a CD of the MRI, along with the report, but Dr. Farzam did not want to look at the MRI images. Instead he wanted another brain MRI with gadolinium contrast done for my 9-year old. I did not like his approach and was eventually able to get an appointment with a pediatric neurologist at Joe DiMaggio in Hollywood, who assured us that this incidental MRI finding had no clinical significance, and no repeat MRI was necessary, especially not a contrast MRI. I am glad I was able to get a second opinion and did not subject my 9-year old to an unnecessary contrast MRI.

My son was a patient and I must say the doctor and his nurse are wonderful. The patient care was outstanding, great bedside manner, no long wait time to be seen, no issues ever with the office receiving medical records from outside testing sites. Great doctor and staff!

My daughter has been a patient of DrFarzam since 2014 and I couldn't be more pleased with his services. After diagnosing my daughter with autism he has helped me with resources and scripts for therapy and medication in emergency situations. I will not give him up, I refuse to make changes to my daughter's insurance just so she can keep seeing him. I referred a dear family friend to DrFarzam and every time I see her, she can not stop thanking me! He makes a difference in his field and I don't believe there is anyone alive that can fill his shoes. Thank you for never failing us, DrFarzam.

When our daughter began suffering with headaches, we were looking for a doctor that would be able to help us through the tedious process of finding medications that worked at controlling the headaches, as well as ones with minimal side effects. Dr. Farzam was such a pleasure to work with and was thorough with all the treatments. We are now having to find an adult neurologist, and we are hoping to find one that we like as much as we love Dr. Farzam.

After being with Dr. Farzam for several years, he dropped my son as a patient in the middle of changing his main medications. It left my son very sick and unable to get into a new neurologist for a month. Very disappointed

Dr. Tarzan is by farmost the best Dr that I've came across. My child has seizures and is ADHD and Dr. Farzam takes very good care of him. His bedside manners are such a blessing, especially when you are having so many issues with your child. He gives you a sense of security. He also cares about not only the health of your child but also the overall well-being and I love him for that. I wouldn't trade him for the world. If you pick him, trust be Thru God, that you have an excellent, caring Dr.

DR. Farzam's office has been an absolute life saver for my daughter who suffers from migraines! He is thorough, genuine and listens intently. He never generalizes patients and their symptoms and treats everyone with absolute care, concern and respect! He was meticulous in his diagnosis of the migraines and has been very methodical with his medication management. You can schedule an office with ease, and for those parents who are working parents, there are regular evening appointments.

Very good doctor goes over and above to help you get the answers you are looking for to help the kids and parents have piece of mind. It takes a little time on your first visit but it's well worth the wait. Have patience. My son has done a 360 with Dr.Farzam's help. We are having a great year. Thanks to him and his staff cause we parents don't have patience all the time but they smile and say they understand and reassure you. Thank you very much from a mom that had a rough year last year.

I would advise parents to avoid being treated by Dr. Farzam. His evaluation of my daughters brain injury was inadequate and incomplete. Canceled an MRI and never alerted us. Never called with information and was impossible to get anyone in the office on the phone. We waited in the waiting area for 3 1/2 hours only to be dismissed with an inconclusive report. It was a complete waste of our time and neglectful of this doctor to be so neglegent with my childs well being.
