Dr. Farnaz Mohammadi, MD

Dr. Mohammadi treated my father at Lima Memorial Health System for two years. She was extremely attentive and was able to help reverse some extreme leg swelling, caused by acute lymphedema, through a change in medication. My family loved her bedside manner and caring nature! I would NOT suggest this physician to anyone. For some reason, my mom my was assigned this doctor as her primary care physician when her PCP left the health system/retired. My mom has at least 2 office visits a year for "preventive" and maintenance treatment - at least if not more. First visit with this doctor and she had "Stage 3 Kidney Disease". No other doctor diagnosed this, even with recent lab work. She immediately added a restricted diet and an expensive medication for this "new" condition. Funny thing is, my mother sees other specialists who routinely run lab work every 3 months who do not find the same "kidney disease concerns" as this physician. It seems like a way to bill Medicare for additional treatment that is not otherwise needed. BEWARE!
