Dismissive
Dr. Jamalyaria feigns concern for any of your medical symptoms and is very dismissive if they don’t all align with a standard autoimmune disease. He steers you away from any sort of diagnosis or medical intervention no matter what the past symptoms were.

Dr. J lacks competency as a diagnostician, which is critical to the field of rheumatology. He doesn’t take into consideration radiographic evidence, lab work, nor did he even acknowledge the role that my other autoimmune disorders played in contributing to the severity of the primary autoimmune condition for which I visited him in the first place—all because I’m not the stereotypical patient who is typically afflicted with my condition. He’s crippled by bias, lacking objectivity & social skills.

Dr. Jay gives me hope about my RA. He is positive but realistic about my disease progression and we come up with a treatment plan together that makes sense for my medical and personal needs. I am impressed with and grateful for his approach to treating my RA, as well as with how he treats me as a person. His office is quite a drive for me as I live inside the loop, but it's worth it. Wait times are minimal and his staff is responsive. My only regret is not seeing Dr. Jay sooner.

This doctor takes the time to listen and makes sure you are as involved in decisions as he is. He explains what his diagnosis is as well as how he arrived at that diagnosis. He explains all tests and what he hopes to determine by doing tests. His follow up to the test is letters to give you answers as to what was found. All around he is a caring doctor. ????
