Great Doc
Dr Turtle listens to my concerns and is decisive with treatment. She is also patient, understanding and I leave her office feeling my health concerns were addressed and there is a plan of action. I would recommend her to family and friends looking for a doctor.

I left my last appointment in tears. I seem to have a lot of medical issues and I had gastric bypass to help combat some of the issues. I just want to be in control of my life again. Unfortunately though, it didn’t fix what I hoped it would, and to top it off, for the last year and a half, I’ve been experiencing dizzy spells when I stand up either from a sitting or lying position. It scares me that one day I’m going to pass out at work and possibly fall down the stairs, I’m also constantly fatigued and it has really taken a toll on my livelihood. To forewarn you; It is EXTREMELY difficult to get in to see Dr Turtle. In order for me to make my yearly check up appointment, I had to book 8 months in advance! The first time I went in for my dizziness, she was not available so I had to see her affiliate, Jennifer Green. Dr Green was kind and listened to me. She was concerned that it might be my heart because of my low resting heart rate (That she was aware of from other visits, including my hospital time) compounded by the other symptoms. She asked me to wait a full year from my surgery date since it might also be my body in shock from my GB. It didn’t go away even after waiting a year and 3 months. I was however, able to get in to Dr Turtle, this last time and for whatever reason I thought it was her I saw the year before but she vehemently denied seeing me for it and after research she saw that it was Dr Green. She also openly said she disagreed with her affiliate and did not think I needed a heart test. Dr Turtle gas lit me the whole appointment. She doesn’t believe I have bradycardia because my heart rate was normal my last few documented Dr visits. I tried to show her on my smart watch but forgot that I’ve been charging it at night when I’m in a relaxed state so it didn’t show my real resting heart rate and she looked at it while I was bringing it up and said yeah you’re heart rate is normal(the next couple days I wore my watch to bed and it tracked my HR AT 39-41BPM) She said that when she would ask a question about a symptom my answers were always yes (I tried to answer everything honestly, who wants to waste time holding anything back?) She made me feel like I was being a hypochondriac. Only a hypochondriac says they have symptoms that they in fact don’t have. I finally realized she didn’t believe me and I got upset with her. Why would I make a Dr appointment and pay a ridiculous amount of money that I don’t have, for nothing?! I told her that I just wanted the vertigo to go away at which she questioned if someone diagnosed me with vertigo, at which point I said no, she than tells me the definition of vertigo and I told her the room doesn’t spin I just kind of black out and get dizzy and that I must have thought that was what vertigo is. She told me that vertigo is something completely different and that I shouldn’t self diagnose. She then asked how much water I’m drinking and I told her a minimum of 64oz. She replied with, “If you are in fact drinking 64oz of water then we could maybe get you into a cardiologist for the possibility of POTS but I think you are fine.” I told her that’s what I wanted. I went to my car and cried. I felt hopeless and I know I’m not making this up. I will NEVER go back to her again. She doesn’t care about others. She will not listen to you and if she doesn’t understand your symptoms then she will assume you are lying. She’s a worthless doctor! It hurts my heart that she would do this to others as well. Also, she told me a cardiologist would contact me within the week. It’s been 3 weeks and I haven’t heard from anyone.

Nice enough
Does not return phone calls. Wait of five months to get in to see her. Assistant impossible to understand. I didn’t want to leave email. I wanted this to be totally anonymous
