Dr. Fayz Yar Khan, MD

Dr. Yar Khan himself is friendly and has a good manner overall. The problem is with his office staff!! There have been multiple times that I have had to contact them to be sure referrals were sent, or to have my questions answered by the doctor and/or about prescriptions. He is my PCP, with visits free or very low cost; when I was there just a couple of weeks ago for a follow-up visit to discuss test results (waited over an hour for him because he was backed up BTW!) the girl at the checkout desk claimed I owed over $100 and there were claims that were not paid to them because of a wrong address. I gave them my new address shortly after I moved several months prior!! He needs staff who know what they're doing!!

I would rate this office -10 if I could. The office staff is totally incompetent.I saw Dr. Fayz Yar Khan, MD in 12-22. He was my newly assigned primary care doctor at that time. I provided my insurance card to the office staff to update their billing. A couple months later I received a bill for $80. I contacted the billing company, and the doctor's office with correct billing information again. This same process has repeated once every month since 2-23. I have received 6 billing notices, and six collection phone calls. I have replied every time with the correct billing information. in 7-23 I told them to stop calling me, or I would file a complaint with AHCCCS, and online sites. I notified them several times that they cannot send a bill to an active AHCCCS member. They have continued to do so anyway. They are now threatening to send this to collections. No other proved has ever had this problem with me.

Dr. Yar Kahn actually listens. I am a pretty new patient. Thrilled with his care so far. He takes the time to hear you.

Do NOT go here!! I saw Dr. Khan on February 2nd and needed 2 prescriptions filled due to being completely out. Today is February 15th and I’ve called the office every day and they still haven’t called my prescriptions in after they said they did. I just moved here, sent them my medical records and everything still have absolutely nothing!!! I’ve been out of my prescriptions for almost 2 weeks. This is messing with my health and De. Khan or Genisis does not care about it because I still don’t have anything!!!
