Not a personable practitioner.
I found him to be dismissive. I have peripheral neuropathy that is advancing up my legs. He performed a nerve test, and at the follow up appointment, he agreed that I had neuropathy and, without further comment or discussion, basically said “Have a nice day”. He didn’t seem interested in pursuing this any further. Disappointing.

I was under the care of Dr. Jiang for new onset of seizures. I had various unusual symptoms and sensations I expressed concern about. I also came to his office with droopy eyelids which is a clear sign of CJD. All Dr. Jiang did was ask me if I'd been sleeping. I recently began having myoclonic seizures at night. After looking up the causes of myoclonic seizures it correspondes with CJD or a rare fatal brain disease. Shortly thereafter I find out I had ancestors who were Amnish and who passed from it as well.

He's very knowledgeable, always takes time to listen to any concerns, orders tests when necessary, explains this thoroughly and well. He's very friendly and concerned about your overall wellbeing, not just the seizure aspect of your medical health - he understands that all things can tie together and works very well with all members of my health care team.

Dr. Jiang was my Epileptologist (Neurologist) for many many years, The only reason he isn't anymore is because I moved out of state. Believe me when I tell you that he is an excellent physician.

Dr Jiang is a very patient and understanding doctor. He has helped me adjust to my seizure disorder and helped me transition to a new drug when I could no longer afford a drug that got too pricey.
