Unpleasant
A terrible experience. I don't understand how Dr's like this are allowed to still work. Talks down to you and hates taking questions. Gets irritated when you ask questions and responds in a very irritated way. Rushes you and just looks like shes going through the motions. Was put on meds pills and creams to clear up redness on my face from rosacea . After 4 months no changes to my face and at the follow up visit was told that it wasn't ever going to clear up and that's more cosmetic. Refused to mention that on my initial visit. What's all the meds for then? Got irrated when I asked about it. Now I realize why I got a dermatology appointment in 1 day after reading these reviews. I reached out to another dermatologist who is as baffled as I am about this experience.

I don't recommend Dr. Wirth as she leaves your questions unanswered. She tries to wrap up the conversation as soon as you start asking questions about your health condition. Definitely not seeing her again, waste of my time and money.

Dr. Wirth seems tired and bored with being a doctor. I’ve been seeing her for a few years. I’ve decided I’m done as is my husband. You can come in with a list of spot concerns but you cannot have any discussions. This is the first time I’ve seen a doctor at Harvard Vanguard who I felt was not interested.

Dr Wirth is the first doctor to give me a poor medical experience. She diagnosed me with a rare blood disorder (that had side effects on the skin) which she identified early on, but that was the only positive part of my experience with her. She was very poorly prepared for all following appointments, where SHE would ask ME about my latest bloodwork results. It also often felt like she didn't even remember who I was as her patient - asking me about "how my moles are doing" where moles were never an issue that I have once brought up to her. She took credit for referring me to a specialist at a nearby hospital, which she in fact did not refer me to, but rather one of my other doctors did. She doesn't seem invested in me at all as a patient, and I genuinely feel like my time has been wasted at my appointments with her.

Terrible clinician. Spoke down to me, like I was not allowed to ask questions. She was condescending in her responses. Was supposed to do a skin check, as I have an incredibly strong history of melanoma, and I had to push back and tell her to be more thorough after she barely glanced at me. I wouldn’t go back to her if my life depended on it. Stay away.

I went to Dr. Wirth for several years. I asked her about a round raised bump on my chin two years ago and she told me it was a mole and not to worry. This year I changed dermatologists because my husband had also gone to Dr. Wirth and she had missed diagnosing an early state melanoma on him. My new dermatologist wanted to have a better look at this bump which was a little bigger at this point, biopsied it and turned out it was a basal cell carcinoma. Upset that Wirth didn't catch it earlier.

I saw Dr. Wirth once, for a first-time full body exam. I hadn't seen a dermatologist in a few years and had 4-5 quick questions. I was 15 minutes early for the appointment and heard her staff say the patient before me cancelled. Dr. Wirth has no bedside manner, acted like she didn't want to get near me (I wasn't sick) and actually told me if I had more questions, to make another appointment. I would never go back and am seeing another derm. Dr. Wirth was knowledgeable but also horrible.

I have been going to Dr Wirth for several years now, after becoming dissatisfied with my previous dermatologist. Her treatment cleared up recurring pre-cancerous cysts on my nose that had troubled me for years. I have found that she listens well, responds to questions and gives options - all of which I appreciate. Also I think that the fact that she does an annual full body exam probably saved the life of a friend of mine who was not aware that she had a melanoma on her back.

Dr Wirth destroyed my face. She gave me a cortisone shot which left me with devastating lipo atrophy on my face. It's still visible 3 + years later. When the emergency happened they were not helpful. They referred me to their associate for a $1200 cosmetic filler. It's been the worst medical experience of my life.
