Don't let him treat your loved ones
Horrible straight out of medical school, worse yet, the associates in his practice are just as bad. Zero empathy for patients, complete disregard to patient's care & proper dx. Met him many years ago when he saw my Mom for intestinal issues, he told her she had colon cancer due to a shadow on her xray films (colonoscopy), then proceeded to leave the room to take a call. Left us there in shocked. When he returned I asked if the shadow could have been caused by waste, perhaps she didn't clear out properly for the test, his response, who's the doctor here? me or you? Went on to say he was 99% sure she had colon cancer. I demanded a 2nd test, 2nd time under anesthesia. After the test, he left the hospital, didn't come to see us with results, after waiting 1 mo. with cancer scare. We needed results, charge nurse came up, told us My Mom was ok, NO CANCER. Previous shadows on films due to waste in the intestines. 3 yrs ago my Dad was referred to him, horrible experience never returned.

Horrible Experience!!
I went with my daughter to her appointment with Dr. Ibarra to receive the results of a liver biopsy. Waited over 3 hours to be seen. Once Dr. Ibarra walked in, his greeting to us was what do you need. We told him to receive the liver biopsy results. He reviewed her chart and said he didn't have her results or record of a liver biopsy. We went around in circles explaining to him that he was the one who performed the biopsy next door two weeks ago and he kept denying it. My daughter walked out crying because she now does not know what happened to her body while under anesthesia. I told Dr. Ibarra, please understand my daughter's frustration, he cut me off and said, No, I don't understand and I don't care. When I asked what procedure was done, he told me he didn't know and to figure it out.

Specialist????
Horrible dr thru a tantrum when we were in surgery room and walked out( thinking I was already out) everyone in surgery room looked scared knowing I was awake seeing his behavior and look on my face. About 20 minutes he was back I was scared to death! Woke up everything was over and he was gone and didn’t return. EVERYONE that I know that had procedure including my mother who I was there with were given results by dr after procedure and pics. I asked nurse when I woke results cause dr split was told everything looked good. I was then given apptmt for 2 weeks in overcrowded dirty office with hall full of people waiting for apptmt with no mask, including rude office people and dr. I’m sorry but people are still at risk and the hospital he preforms ,yes preforms at give u covid test before surgery and all stall are checked and wear masks!??? Worst dr I’ve ever come across and I will fight with insurance to never see him again. Patients are people not just paychecks dr ibbara!! Avoid him!!

I wish I could review their services but I can't because I can't even get these bozos to answer the phone after like 20 attempts over the course of a week. Seriously, they didn't pick up the phone even once. What a clown show. I guess I'll have to call my insurance group and request a new doctor. Hey Doc here's a tip... if you're not going to answer the stupid phone at least do us a favor and leave an outgoing message saying you don't care.

First, the information on this site and others indicates telehealth is a service that his office provides. That is not true. The office staff seem overworked and every time I call I am put in a queue that lasts 45-60 minutes before anyone answers. Follow-up appointments are typically scheduled months after a procedure. I asked for a telehealth consultation since I could not make the appointment - as I would be out of time (at the same time my appointment was scheduled for) and I was told, "we don't do that". How on earth can a doctor who is already supposed to be at the appointment on that day and time not make a phone call consultation instead? Ridiculous. Inflexible. My primary care physician had to get the results and she set up an appointment with me within a week of the issue - not months out. Dr. Park seems to be a good doctor and I hope that Ibarra is (I've never actually seen him) - it's unfortunate that Dr. Park is in such a poorly run office.

I have visited Dr. Ibarra's once and had a procedure done. On my first appointment, I did not get to meet him, and for the procedure, I was in the OR when he showed up, but I did not get to see his face. I'm giving his office a one-star since it's a group effort. I've been trying to reach his office to schedule a follow-up appointment for the procedure done back in December, and they never answer the phone. I've called several times and left voice messages, and until this day, no one has called me back or answered the phone. Next week will be a month since my procedure, and I find it frustrating that his offices are all connected to an automated system and all you do is wait to see if anyone answers the phone. Ironically, last week I received a letter from his office stating, " We are trying to get a hold of you to make an appointment, please call this number." Nevertheless, I have called that number several times and I do not get an answer.

DONT GO to Dr. Ibarra. He is very rude and his office makes a lot of mistakes and tries to make it seem like it's your fault. My grandfather who is 90 years old had an appointment with Dr. Ibarra which I called twice before the appointment to make sure it was really with him and not the doctor he has working for him. So we go to the appointment after waiting two hours we find out its with a nurse practitioner. That tell us if we want to see Dr. Ibarra to go to his other office & we would be seen

For starters, call wait time is ridiculously looooong, then appointment time doesn't mean you're gonna be seen at that time. Waiting area is always crowded & patients are not only standing in the waiting area but outside in the hall. Visit with doctor is very short and doctor doesn't seem interested in patient concerns. I visited with my mom and he didn't seem interested in her concerns after discomfort from procedures he requested; she was referred back to her primary.
