Tragic-Ended in death of 29 year old mommy locally
Dr. Ayoola killed my daughter. He nicked her lower intestines then for 6 months he ignored all signs and symptoms till she went 100% septic shock, she survived for 2 years, no thanks to him, he left her paralyzed on a ventilator in critical condition, she’s survived by her 10 year old daughter beautiful daughter whom I’m raising now and he offers no apologies or regrets. Her name was Jacquelyn, be sure to mention this when you visit him and do your homework, he’s smooth, slick, greedy, and will show you zero remorse if mistakes are made and will blame it on the patient as he accept no responsibility whatsoever and the laws allow this. I have all paperwork necessary and he walked because he’s protected by the State Laws.

Need a Comprehensive Support Team
I got my gastric sleeve from Dr A in ‘18, and I am pleased with my results now. I’ve written this review probably 15 times over the years but never posted it because I thought I was bitter. I’m not. Back then I wished they had a dietitian on staff instead of a nutritionist, not sure if that’s changed since then. I asked Sandee if she could help me meal plan or help me come up with a grocery list and she looked like a deer in headlights. I felt like I had to figure out how to lead a healthy lifestyle on my own, then get graded with the checklist to see if I was measuring up and following the rules for surgery. They helped me with insurance, got the testing done, and had a good surgical experience. Don’t expect more than them doing just their job and unsubscribe from the plastic surgery & medspa emails. Lose the weight to feel good and be healthy, not to see the numbers on the scale or your clothes go down, you’ll have a better outcome that way. I transitioned care because of it.

I have been seeing Dr. Ayoola since September 2024 and I have really enjoyed working with him and his staff. My regular doctor felt I was too old to receive any weight loss help, so I sought Dr. Ayoola's advise and now am 25 pounds lighter and in a much happier body. I had some lypo and prescribed diet pills. For anyone looking to improve their body, at any age, you need this doctor! (P.S. I'll just say I am over 70 and both me, my husband, and family are all happy for me,)

Waited 30 minutes past my appointment time because he was late getting back from lunch. Then Dr. Ayoola tried to talk me into a different procedure saying that I could have a revision if the first surgery didn’t give the results I wanted. Why go through two surgeries?? More money for him is why! His staff was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to them. One woman who went over my insurance coverage insisted on one requirement I knew was wrong. I had previously spoke with my insurance so I knew better. When I pointed that out, she said she knew her damn job. That was the final straw. I left and chose another doctor and couldn’t be happier.

Dr. Ayoola is an incredible doctor. He devotes time to you as a patient and understands the struggle. However... His office staff is lacking in their customer service abilities. They also need to learn when to hustle and how to call people back. The office staff could not tell the difference between left and right every single time I contacted them.

This sharpshooter of a surgeon saved my life. Presurgical communication and discosure of risks vs benefits was excellent. Dr. Ayoola's staff was also first class--involved, responsive and supportive. My case was a tough one, and he saw me through to a level of success I truly did not expect.

Dr. Ayoola was great before and during the surgery. Our frustration is after the surgery. Nobody in his office calls back. Very hard to set up an appointment with him to discuss issues that are going on. It is very frustrating!!!!

My mother was an OR/ER nurse for 43 years so I’m very picky when it comes to doctors. Dr Ayoola is one of the best. He’s truly concerned with his patients care and well being. My initial consultation lasted well over an hour. He took the time to go over everything making sure I was well aware of all the benefits of each type of surgeon inwas looking at. He didn’t seem rushed or distracted and spent the time really listening to me and my questions. I was very impressed and would choose him again

Dr. Ayoola is an incredible surgeon. I am 66 and had the surgery 12/18/2018. My recovery has been very easy and the recommendations his staff made when I was preparing for surgery really contributed to that. I disagree with the reviews that were negative about office staff. Asia and all I interacted with were very supportive! Thank you to them.

Dr. Ayoola is a friendly person. You can tell he wants to help his clients & ensure their safety. However after the experience I had with a member of his staff I don't know if I'll go back. She walked out of the room while I was talking, she had no clue about pricing, I asked what finance company they preferred she told me they didn't have one then I told her I saw it on their website that they did, she said "oh yeah care credit" she got hateful with me when I asked about my insurance benefits.

I didn't get to see the dr so this review is on the office overall. After driving an hour and arriving 15 minutes prior to my appointment , I was still made to wait one hour. The doctor was there & several other patients went in and out. After an hour I walked out. If my time isnt respected , then this isn't the dr for me. There are too many other doctors to choose from to be treated badly. One more thing , I paid $200 cash when I arrived, was given a receipt for only $100. ??
