Dr. Frances Hamilton, MD

I suffered for years with textbook symptoms that Dr Hamilton dismissed. I felt rushed every appointment. Although she is good at giving you the appearance of seeing YOU, the individual, she is so stuck in her predetermined beliefs she totally ignores your feedback and then gets irritated when you try to insist. The other reviews are right on the mark. I finally switched doctors. I was diagnosed quickly and after years of being sickly, I was treated and within a week I had my life back. Do better.

Dr. Hamilton‘s always been personal and I think overall well intended. However, I think her real passion is her work and international development. Repeatedly, she also belittled my pelvic pain as “something women go through around the world all the time”which ended up being stage four endometriosis. If it had been diagnosed, earlier, it would’ve saved me so much suffering. Women need to stop dismissing other womens’ pain.

She is the worst doctor I have ever been to. Period. She doesn't listen and then jumps to the wrong conclusions. I should have written this review long ago to stop people from going to her. There are too many highly competent doctors in the Boulder area to risk repercussions of the misdiagnosis that I had. She should not be practicing medicine.

I love Dr. Hamilton! She always greets me with a hug and is a great listener. Even my hugless virtual appointment with her over the phone last week immediately calmed my fears and I've been feeling steadily better ever since.

Dr. Hamilton has been my Primary Care physician for more than 10 year. She is a skilled Dr., with a broad understanding of holistic health, nutrition, etc. We've developed a relationship over the years, and she always asks about me, and my family. I am very grateful to have a talented, trusted Dr. on my team!

I used to see her and loved her, as she spent a lot of valuable compassionate time wiith me. Now, however, she rushes me through an appointment saying she's only allowed to see her patients for 15 minutes, and it definitely shows. I was made to feel like she couldn't care less about me.
