I had a very bad experience with this doctor. She damaged a nerve while removing a very common lipoma on my ankle, which is why I now have constant pain in my entire foot and darkening of the skin. I told her about it at my post-op appointment and she told me it would go away soon. Two years later and it's still like this...

Nail clipping
Nothing didn't compare to Dr groat who retired and was given a nurse practitioner to clip my toenails who on the second visit which was a mistake wasn't there any longer I had asked about a callus on my big toe and immediately she turned around and pointed if it wasn't covered by insurance I would be billed an extra $45 while I sat on a table that I had difficulty even getting up on

Finally, answers
I'm a retired physician and after having had excellent patient feedback on Dr. Squatrito, I saw her myself for chronic foot pain after disappointment with several (6) other podiatrists. She immediately recognized the root cause of my foot pain- very longstanding instability from multiple old sprains- that had been missed. I have enough confidence in her to have her repair my ankle(s) surgically (currently pending). She is never rushed and has a very pleasant but straightforward demeanor. I recommend her without reservation to anyone needing podiatry care.

Dr. Squatrito is an angel. I have had extremely bad experiences with doctors and I'm always apprehensive when going to see a new one. She has the best bedside manner I've ever experienced in my life. And she knows her stuff too! I've never had an unpleasant experience with her. Even when unpleasant things needed to be done. I'm extremely thankful I've found her.

Dr. Squatrito diagnosed me with Plantar Fascitis. After 6 visits with her over 4 months , 6 weeks in a support boot, 3 months in a splint, 1 Steroid shot, 2 sets of special insoles, and my total out of pocket cost of $561, I have seen ZERO improvement in pain relief. Dr. Squatrito only physically examined my foot twice the entire time, and, at my last visit, before she took a 4-month hiatus, knowing that my problem persisted, did not even offer to give me another shot, the only treatment that provided me with at least some temporary relief the first time; at my request, she would only give me another shot in another separate appointment. Seems pretty obvious to me that, in spite of her generally pleasant approach, she is more interested in collecting from the insurance and the patient. I do not recommend this doctor to anyone with foot and ankle problems.

Dr. Squatrito performed a surgical exercise procedure on my "big toe" this week. She kept me completely informed and calm throughout the entire event and the end results were great. Dr. Squatrito is a very professional podiatrist. Sincerely, Gordon Scott
