Francis Dipaolo
Had a left eye cataract removed recently and replaced with a new lens. The process was very easy. Staff very helpful and made reminder calls pre and post operatively. The procedure itself was painless and recovery was as expected. I am very comfortable asking Dr. Dipaolo questions and he is very thorough.

Doctor's Doc!
As a physician, a little knowledge is a dangerous thing :-) I was not exactly looking forward to this procedure. I wound up interviewing several Ophthalmologists. Dr. DiPaulo turned out to be the guy to do it for me. I have been very pleased with the results.

BAD EXPERIENCE: I had to wait about 3 week for my appointment with Dr. Di Paolo (Ophthalmologist) in Springfield. Today I went to his office. I brought my Insurance booklet "Focus on You." And told the woman on the desk that I needed the Medicare-covered eye exams: for glaucoma screening ($0), and for diabetic eye exam ($0), and also a Routine eye exam ($0). She told me the those exams are not covered and I will be responsible for the bills, and for the Routine eye exam I should go an optometrist. So I decided to leave the office. In other words she refused to give me medical attention, provided that I had an appointment. It seems to me that this doctor doesn't follow the Innovation coverage that is part of my policy. He shouldn't be part of the network. I feel very disappointed. Unfriendly costumer employee.
